Ahhh thats good enough mate :P I'll get you a piccy later, my car has been stolen by a family member today. I'll also get a pic of the other richbrook one my friend has in his 172.
I assume you have a decat if you are running pops and bangs (not a map but a calibration). I always tell people it's best to drive the car in the situation they are talking about before considering upgrades. As chip says.
You don't need to spend unless you feel you need it.
Pretty sure this is a racing gear knob http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Flashing-Red-LED-Racing-Flame-Sport-Gear-Knob-Stick-Shift-Ball-UK-STOCK-/290753386747?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item43b24098fb
No seriously, get a richbrook, I love my slant top...
about 5 litres or so I can't remember exactly. Bleed screw is on the stat housing, you can see it in the pure motorsport a/c delete guide.

Mine cost me £30 inc materials
bought this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-25-Stainless-Steel-Tube-Pipe-Exhaust-0-5m-Length-Repair-Straight-57mm-OD-57-1-/221230850017?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item338262dfe1
Depends what size sleeve you have.
Got it welded by an engineering firm for £20...
My friends 172 outer boots have split. Whats the best place to get this done local to me? Spoke to ren7oaks, £125 plus vat.
Sounds pretty reasonable to me but thought I'd ask around.
Need them done by next Friday.
I am a 100% private customer and they were happy to sell me one unit. From the ads in AE it looks like they are trying to break into the consumer market or appeal to owners of small fleets.
Yeah it's a psdvr009. Of course I haven't triale this in a crash so don't know about small bump. You have to call up to order it as they don't seem to have an Internet store yet. Someone there straight away though.
Sound isn't good enough for track days I'm affraid GAZ
Here's the link http://www.parksafeautomotive.com/dvr.aspx
Pictures are good at night certainly.
Unfortunately there isn't a socket for an external microphone but I'm still very pleased :)
Hi Steve
I can't find the piece of paper which gives exact figures but 8gb is enough for about 2 hours. It does write over the oldest stuff though unless you lock the video (you can do this to save evidence)
I forgot to mention, it's detatchable from the GPS antenna which is on the windscreen...
Crumbs I haven't updated this for ages. EPAS is now in and working perfectly. Passengers seat has been lowered, sunstrip, crash cam in.
I'm going on a road trip to the ring, down the romantic road and into Austria in just over a week. Got a few things to sort before I go. I took her for a shake...
Thought I'd post up about a new toy I got in the post yesterday. It's the new Parksafe PSDVR009. For those who read autoexpress you may have seen int advertised.
Supposed to be over £150 when I spoke to the lad on the phone but a misprint sees it down to £99.
I'm sure most folk have seen...
It doesn't look fresh no. The car has been looked after like royalty it's whole life (meaning coolant changes frequently) so I have no reason to know why it would come off. There is a score mark around the impeller though so it must have come off in the engine.
As long as it's stuck where it is...
To finish this thread off. I took the stat and housing off, pressure washed the inside of the block and nothing came out.
It's all back together and working fine so I hope it's lodged somewhere it will never come out of.
Hi Will - the problem I had was the 12v ignition wire I had spliced on wasn't getting a great connection. I had it once or twice. If you make sure that's a really good connection there should be no problems with it being intermittent. Also check the earth is tip top.
I am going to try my best to find it. As you say though Dan I think it's probably stuck somewhere that I'll never find. Bit worried about my 1500 mile road trip though if I don't find it.
As you're on a budget buy part worn with nearly new levels of tread on. I have neros on mine for about £180 for all 4 (inc fitting) with 7mm tread on each :) much better value for money.
I bought them from separate auctions but they come up so regularly it would take no more than a week to get...
Here's my review then. Not too detailed as I'm on lunch.
All is well. There are 3 main settings I use mine on; full assistance, just over half a turn and about 1/8 from off.
Setting 1 - very good for parking or when you want a really chilled and light steering drive. It's not very suitable for...
Morning, thanks for your reply. I haven't checked behind the stat yet as I'm awaiting the gaskets from renault. I've got a new pump as this one was whining.
I've stuck a hose in the block and nothing came out and it was the same story with the rad. I assume the coolant flows through the block...
