I am also after a kill switch, something that can keep the ignition for inside and a turn or pull know for outside the car.
Car is a 172 cup, ideally after something I can fit to the scuttle panel, dont want to spend the world on cartek or armtech etc. ideally easy to install

bumping an old ish thread.
My car will be used 10 times a year ish, I need a battery that will be fine with this. If I can save weight great, didnt really want to mess about with a relocation kit until after this year.
Can I just buy a s,smaller battery that will do the job and charge it up a...
Another place to try for bolts is Williams fasteners, although they have a £2 minimum pick line. To cover this I just buy 2 quids worth of each and save them.
the van got nicked 3 weeks later!, now i have a full hd 16 camera set up watching everything with intruder alarms and sensors etc. plus 3 locks per gate to slow them down.
I had them on the car when I purchased it, they literally tried to kill me every time it rained, it wasnt even when gunning it, sometimes just cruising along at 40mph round a bend of sorts and the cars sliding all over haha.
fitted PS3's and never looked back!
It is a full cage yes, purchased from Mark fish motorsports in the group buy here. It has made the car so stiff, I can lift the car just rocking the cage. I haven't driven it since installing as no seat yet!
Not been much in the way of updates for this.
The cage is fitted and finished (just need to under seal where its been welded).
I am making some mounts for the seat as its quite wide it hits the cage so I need to move it closer to the handbrake.
Suspension is here, in the end i went with BC...
loving my mate 20 pro, the camera is amazing. My wife is a photographer but never really takes her camera out when not working so I end up taking all the snaps on my phone!
I would totally agree with this.
Me and my mate have both just purchased fiesta Zetec S 120's 2009 1.6 engines.
He has put an exhaust system on and induction kit and had it remapped. It made a nice 118 standard and 138 when remapped.
mine is still standard and I havnt had it rolling roaded...
a little off topic, but not massively!
I was thinking of removing the rear spoiler to save weight, its fine within my regulations. does it actually do anything? and what will be underneath it if i get it off? massive holes to full and spray etc?
It might look a little odd, and no idea what...
My wife did a couple of the chris chambers courses a few years ago, and also the S6 / rock your shot ones when she was starting out. She said they really helped her!
Going back to this thread, I am removing this now, although struggling with the dash so I will go and check I haven't missed a screw somewhere. Pretty sure I haven't though from the Youtube video I am following.
how do I get rid of a removed airbag once it is removed? Can I just bin it or is...
Well its beena while since I updated. I kept the car pretty much as it was and fully road legal to enable me to drive to Curborough for the sprint school.
I feel the day was very good, well run and 100% worth the cost. Yes I would get a lot more runs on a normal track day, but stuff like...
cars looking good, those pics make it look very planted!
If you get any weekend space in Oct let me know as I need to do more testing :)
Great little track isnt it!
