    172 Cup Handling

I totally understand what you are saying, I did think to sell the car and get a standard one (mine is cammed so couldnt go standard production). The price to put it back to standard would be silly but I love the car. I was going to go into Road going production, but it has had 0 entries all...

road going =class 1B? Mod prod = 3B? The only reason I didnt want to go for 1A is there are no other cars their in the championship, same as last year. I feel it is pointless being the only one in a class, so would rather move up a class and have some competition, even if I do get smashed...

    172 Cup Handling

Very tidy run, I have only done 1 practice day and 2 members afternoons so far. Will be doing my first chempionship next year. What sort of speeds do you normally get crossing the line? I managed a couple of 85-88 mph on the last run. Not sure how that compares to other similar cars though.

Home cctv and phone apps? recommendations please!

just fitted one of these two minutes ago Hikvision DS-2CD2085FWD-I | 4mm 8MP Mini Bullet Network CameraDS-2CD2085FWD-I-4 Seems great quality, I ordered a 4mp too to see the difference, its going back now though as for 50 quid more the 8mp is far superior.

    172 cup airbags

Any chance of aquick walkthrough or tips on removing it @eon172 ? I have searched but cant seem to find any guides etc. I removed the rear seat belts no problem so thats all done. My idea is remove the airbag then get it all turned off if I can find a helpful soul with CLIP.

Subframe to chassis link rod... thing...

Just drill it and use an easy out / stud extractor. Personally I would get a reverse/left hand drill set and more then likely as you are drilling it will just come out.

    172 Cup Handling

hence me asking and saying I don't really know the difference. would a £400 set be as good as a £700 set? logic says no, but it doesnt always work like that. I am guessing the best thing to do would be to look through everyone's race car builds, and see what they run. There must be companies...

Project 172 cup, sprinting one day??

Well this weekend i was at curborough practising. We have to use the middle gate not the bottom one for H&S reasons, so the times are no use to compare etc as no one does that loop. The track was a 3 lap with figure of eight, this meant starting at the side gate, straight into turn one...

    172 Cup Handling

Hi Guys i have done a search but cant find much of a master guide for the information I am after. I have always loved driving cars quick etc but I have never really knows how to set a car up. First Track Car - Advice please

I have bought a 172 cup to do sprinting and its brilliant. I do have to sort the suspension as I was on 2-3 wheels a few times over the weekend. They are very light, not sure what the 182 and 200 compare weight wise, i am in at 191-196bhp, I was doing faster times then the 230 bhp rs200's, as...

Rear end feels loose on 172 cup

really enjoyed curborough yesterday, was a great day. I was struggling with traction so much as the with one wheel off the floor or bouncing it just spins instantly. we were doing a 3 figure of 8 laper from the middle gate, I ended up about 1.8 seconds behind the winner which was a ford KA near...

Rear end feels loose on 172 cup

Runnign standard dampers with ebache springs all round. I normally Brake to drop my speed just before the corner and then light throttle round the corner, trying to accelerate out. The movement seems to be with just as i stop the braking before i add some throttle, I will have to test some...

Rear end feels loose on 172 cup

sorry to hijack, I have a problem where if I am going towards a corner quite quick, say 90-100 and have to brake quite hard the car feels like the rear always wants to overtake the front under heavy breaking. The car is stripped in the rear which I think is adding to the problem. It probably me...
