Not sure where to post this really but this seemed the best place.
My friend has borrowed me her go pro hero 4 and I am on the track tomorrow having driver tuition.
I have never used a go pro and am unsure what settings will be best, I will have to windscreen mount it as my cage isnt in yet...
Graham, or any other person who knows! I am not sure but for modified production can I fit top mounts to my suspension to allow me to change the toe and camber? Im not 100% sure reading the book, does it still count as the same type of suspension? surely it does.
is there any reason to not get rid of the dash all together and just keep the clocks? or cant that be done?
havnt started stripping mine yet so not 100% sure.
I didn't get a pen, key ring or tyre gauge. Now i've lost my keys so cant get in my car, tyres are flat as fook and I cant even write in to complain :(
found this thread from the bloke who bought it from my dad, was 425 bhp not 450!

Havnt really got many pics of mine, this was it, quite a tatty example, think i sold it for about 3500 and it was exported to germany.
this was my dads engine bay, cant find any pics of his car though!
Sounds like your making great progress.
For some reason I thought I had read that taking all the ribbing / strength out of the standard bonnet weight about the same as fibreglass, guess I got fed wrong information there!
the SDCC isnt a massive championship to be honest, but its within an hour, a nice easy track for my first year, and I like the people there!
looking at the 2018 championship table for the up to 2 litre class...
its sprinting, I am doing a championship in the SDCC. Just been recommended by @GrahamV182 they need to be soft / super soft so prob something from track days will be hard to find :)
Yeah I did get recommended some, although cant remember what they were, they were £1200 a set. I cant afford that in year one though, with the cost of everything else. Hopefully i can find something second hand :D
I have some PS3's at the min which I might keep for rainy days, unless I can pick something up better, cheap.
My idea for drys is another set of pro race TD 1.2s with slicks.
I will then try and get the cheapest shitest wheels I can find to leave the car sat on between meets and to use on the...
sorry to go a little off topic, but as you compete you might know. I am going into modified production so can use slicks etc, is there a list of slicks I need to choose from or can I use literally any tyre in that class?
Thanks!
Hi guys
Sorry to bump this old topic, I have been searching and it seemed better then starting a new thread.
I am after some 15 inch slicks for dry and thinking of AD08R's for wets? I need to try and keep the cost down, they are for competing but I think I can run any tyre as it is Modified...
any idea why your entry was turned down? maybe just because they are full or only picking certain cars?
Was really hoping to do it next year if it gets the go ahead again :)
brilliant thread, loving this!
what is the cost of the racing per year roughly do you know? It is something I would be interested in but I fell wont be able to afford! :)
I am doing my car up now ready for sprinting. I start in Jan in the Shenstone and district speed championship, I may also enter another one in the same season cost depending (midland speed championship etc).
If I do well I will either do another year or move onto track racing.
What sort of...
I have just bought the same door cards, did you nee dto buy spacers for the handle in the end or straight fit?
havnt opened mine as going to fit them in a few months when cage is here and I fully strip etc.
I have decided not to fit the rears, seems pointless as it will be 100% track based.
