Decision made, 172 wheels back on as soon as my new tyres appear. May sell the 15's to raise some cash or put them back on the 1.2 to help the sale.

Should have said "emailed" them. They just sent one back after a wee while stating the pish amount and that if I wanted to go ahead then id have to email again or phone them up.

Hey folks When I start up the car the speedo needle is flickering a bit for about 3 seconds max. Have any of you experienced this? The trip comp is also reseting randomly but a quick search showed that a change of battery may fix this. Would the battery change also sort this problem? We are...

This is going to be a crucial decision for me. I had Pro's on the 1.2 and they were immense. On the 172 im worried about the carbon splitter at the front with sportlines! lol Plus I live with the surface of the moon day to day. Shocking roads! :mad:

They are fat! lol 195/50/R15 to be precise - They should be more comfortable and should be able to cope with the poor surfaces like on the 1.2. And about the 15's on the continent, You learn something every day! :approve: Indeed sir, once the yoko's on the TD's are done then its exalto time...

I beg your pudding. I should have said MK2 172 and 182's. Just out of interest what profile is on the MK1 172's 15's?

Anybody run 15's as a day to day wheel on their 172/182? How do you find the drive and the performance compared to the larger wheel? Folks who use them on track days are welcome to comment as well. Reason is im thinking of putting my old 15" Team Dynamics on to give me a bit more tyre...
