coming up to 117k on my valver!
Never do short journeys so hopefully she'll be good to me! Just needs to last another year and then i'll be looking to sell it!
Hi there,
Could someone kindly photoshop me some 182 alloys onto my valver? Would like to see them in white as i'm thinking of getting some but some other colours would be good to see as well!
Here's a pic of my valver...
You can get tinting spray to spray your existing rear lights if you wish, or you can buy them already tinted from somewhere..
Definately colour code though!
Connect your sub up to it and see if it works.
Then, if it works, which is probably will, get another one the same if possible. Connect them both up.
They'll both work, but you're providing half the power to each sub so they won't sound as good.
Better off getting 2 mono amps really.
Instead of doing it that way, extend the pipes up your window wipers and have it spray directly onto the windscreen in front of the wiper. Much more effective i reckon.
With regards to carbon bonnets, my friends also didn't have a hole for the stand, seems daft to me..
I didn't have a sports cat, i was referring to the standard valver cat. I had to put it back in for the MOT. Just made it very loud inside the car and not that loud outside. Now i'm back with the de-cat, and its the other way around!
I tried that, but the bolt was too big to fit through the hole in the connector!
Ended up earthing it to where my rear lights are held on in the end...
Doesn't look like you've scraped enough paint off where you've earthed the amp. You need to scrape a lot off and get it down to bare metal to get a connection. Otherwise the amp won't power on at all.
I don't think the French cared whether or not you could take things off to be honest! Bet they just thought, ahh sod it, instead of desiging something that's easy to take off, we'll just make something loose that rattles to hold the panel in place.
Have a similar problem with my valver...
I hate exhausts like that!
I noticed when i had my cat fitted to my valver it sounded more boomy inside the cabin. Now i have my decat fitted and it's nice and quiet inside.
Not sure if that relates to you at all though!
Yeah me, lol, on my old 1.2 the speedo used to be VERY unstable, used to bounce around all over the place. It had only done 60k as well. Never bothered to find out what it was.
When i got my valver it wasn't as bad, but still noticed it, but now with the new cable it just wobbles a bit at low...
When starting the engine from cold, the pressure needle is at the top of the gauge, stays there for a while, then eventually settles at just above 3 bar. I believe they should idle at around 1.5 bar, well thats what it used to settle at.
If a pad is rubbing slightly while you're rolling, then that'll make squealing noises, and when you apply your brakes, you put pressure on the pad which stops the squeal.
Get some new pads? Or new disks? Worth checking your bearings first though.
I'm sure there are people here who can give...
Well i didn't think so, but it's seriously lacking some power!
I thought it was definately the ECU, but i was reading what too much oil does to an engine and it sounded nasty. Mentioned the oil becoming frothy and very high oil pressure, and if the pressure gets too high it can break an oil...
