Can someone explain or post up a pic of where i can find the reverse light switch on the gearbox on my valver? My reverse lights have stopped working :( They were intermittent for a while but now they've just stopped completely. Quite annoying when reversing in the dark as i can't see FA...

Will where you located? You anywhere near Leicester? Had loads of problems with my coolant system on my valver and ended up replacing a few (cheap) things that finally fixed the problem. Could help you perform a few tests if you want to see if we can find the problem! PM me your postcode...

How do your 17" rims not scrape on the back?? I had to replace mine with 15" willy wheels as the rear drivers side wheel kept catching on the metal bracket that holds the rear bumper on.. :(

Just don't get universal and i don't think it will sound too bad. I had a universal box in my 1.2 MK1 and it sounded like a trombone being blown by an elephant.

I wouldn't of had it back off them until it was absolutely perfect if i were you. You paid good money for that car and you don't want to have to buy a new engine a year down the line when your warranty on the engine runs out. Get it back to Renault and get it sorted. If the engine is knocking...

Must be wired up wrong then? Disconnect the earth on the battery before you connect the +ve, as this will prevent it from sparking. Then connect the earth and see if the fuse still blows. Check connections at the amp end as well, check you have a good earth and that the amp isn't fooked.

The chavvy chrome beesting aerials are rubbish. I tried one to replace my massive valver aerial but the reception was rubbish in comparison! Put the standard one back on and it's much better.

I've never heard a valver that doesn't have a whining power steering pump! They all seem to whine a little bit but obviously if it's really loud something aint quite right..
