Get underneath the car, you'll see it right near where the exhaust goes up into the engine. If its there, check to see how loose it is. Mine was totally shot, replaced it with a new one and it hadn't made much difference to be honest, tempted to replace it with something a bit tougher..

I'd love to do it but it'd have to look better than what the guy did in the link above. Looks like a bit of a bodge/rushed job to the honest, doesn't really have a very professional finish. Like the way the DVD player is just shoved into the head unit section... It'd need to be majorly tidy...

I need to find where the sump plug is in the gearbox, i'm guessing it has fallen out and i've lost all my oil. If that's the case then i'll fill it back up with oil and see what happens... If it's fecked, then it's willy engine time!!

Owned mine for 2 years and it's on 120k, the only thing to go wrong on mine is the clutch, needed replacing. Gearbox may have just died though, waiting to figure out whats wrong, but the engine has been absolutely spot on, and started first time every time since day 1. :)

Sounds like it probably needs a new battery to me. They shouldn't die that quickly unless they're fooked.

I know it seems like a logical explanation but my valver has been fine up until Saturday until these problems appeared. I've already tried to stop my engine rocking by having a new dogbone mount fitted but it didn't help much, plus i've heard it's really difficult to get it to stop rocking...
