Decat make the car loud ...very loud I'd go decat then baffled middle section then rear back box they do exhaust fitting on eBay £35 ktec do a KTR Super Quiet Stealth Exhaust System then jut buy a decat just over £500

I'd take it to good renault garage and pay them just to find the fault then when they locate the problem I'd take it back to the garage you got if from with paper work saying what's wrong and ask them to fix it and pay you back for the renault garage bill

Most people sell the wrong one a buy the right one some the newer type tend to go for more money

Loads of people have tried to fit like 182 later box to a 172cup which needs the earlyer type box like it the ph1 clio 172 and from what I've seen you get the right box or have no speedo or try and use it for parts
