Sorry I put that in totally the wrong bloody thread.
That was meant for the one with the knackard shaft.
Low isn't the problem, I'm going with my original guess for now.
At bedford you're relatively near Danny519 I think, get the car booked in with him, even if you give him £50 to diagnose the problem, the guy knows clio's inside and out so he'll tell you what it is.
Danny solved 4 faults on my car whilst replacing a cambelt, all around that area, without even...
Mental. This is why specialists are what they are.
Did you have a band new clutch KIT fitted when you had the GB done? I had similar symptoms when my release bearing (part of a clutch kit) was poo'd.
It's not just about them being Renault alloys, they need to be the correct offset (how far out/in they will sit), PCD (this is the amount of bolts and their spacing) and the centre bore.
If I had to guess I'd say that any alloys off a mk3 Clio, all engine variants bar the sport would fit your...
To answer your questions, the wheels will need to be the correct fitment for your car, you can't say "new alloys won't include tyres" as unless you buy alloys that take the exact same size tyres (slim chance) then you'll need tyres too.
As for insurance, the policy holder will have to declare...
Re: Djw Designs dedicated track toy project
Oh fair play, that's OK then as it seems a shame to kill a black one for no reason.
How many ph1 172's do you currently own between you?
Re: Djw Designs dedicated track toy project
You guys are f**king batshit. I love it though.
I'd love that black ph1, I really want a tidy up project. Finance says no until Novemeber though. :(
Sorry dude I'm a ph1 owner, not familiar with this ph2 stuff.
I'm not talking about jumping up and down on it though, if the bonnet has "popped" up, then there should be a certain degree of movement in it now (up and down about half an inch) just move it up and down whilst pulling on the...
Oh and just for verification and the satisfaction of the Scotsman, I've just checked every reported post by Gally in the last 2 years and none are about you Adamm.
Hope that helps you and your clearly overinflated ego.
Good work, considering how cheap the pipe will be can you not fit all new stuff? Or is that a ball ache?
Wish I lived closer, I'd love to come lend a hand.
That looks like a stunning base, good luck on finding a clueless seller too.
If I ever bought a 182 it'd be this colour. Get some ITB's so it feels like a real car (ph1)
Looks lovely this, where did the DISA repair kit come from if you don't mind me asking? Tom was telling me it was a nice kit. Keen to get one myself tbh.
Yeah I loved my 3 series coupe but it was just too slow. Shame I can't persuade you to get rid of the exhaust, although the z4 boys kill for a quad system!!!
The zed is a great compromise between performance and luxury, a blend of an mx5 and a 3 series really.
Keep the updates coming...
That's fair enough mate, if you're not exactly taking it mega seriously then it's not the end of the world.
I can get on with all the other bits to some degree, but the exhaust is just NOT cool. You could repair and wrap with carbon wrap? :D
Re: Grey With Trinkets, Russ' 29th RS Clio
It needs red wheels and ph2 side strips. They used to be red Rhys, the wheels were the car's soul. Mike changed them and it broke, no coincidence.
I still just cannot get on with that exhaust, if you had it removed would you have to have the bottom spoiler on the rear bumper changed too?
Do you definitely not fancy silver wheels? It'd freshen things up
