    Titanium ph1, Jon's Ownership Diary.

That's quite a tired looking car but it's certainly got potential. Get snappy to retrim your wheel, it'll have it looking its best. Also, wheel refurb?

    Ph2 Titanium 182

Good progress so far, what colour did you do the wheels exactly? It looks very close to standard!

    Titanium Ph1 Single Day Enhancement

Blimey, that's beading very well indeed. When you bring it down for the wet sand we'll clean it back up and hopefully get some more photos.

    Are these mounts standard?

Nope, vibratechnic mount (uprated). How's the one in the top left of the bay? Uprated too?

    Please, I really need help.

It wouldn't be unheard of for all this shifting around to have finally finished off the CV joint. When it's very bad it'll click whilst driving along, and then click louder when you put pressure on it.

    Please, I really need help.

Doesn't explain the rotational knock though. CV joint has gone too maybe? (easier to just buy a second hand shaft and fit)

    Please, I really need help.

I wasn't talking about the nuts on the top mounts, the top nuts where the coilover strut meets the hub. There's two bit thick nuts and bolts that hold the coilover to the hub, the top one is loosened to adjust camber, check it's tight. Got a photo of the coilovers and top mounts? It's hard to...

    Please, I really need help.

Shame you're in another damn country or someone could take a look... Why not send to Renault to diagnose?? My suggestions are the three following: Top Mounts - Got a picture of exactly what you have??? Solid top mounts of certain designs can knock as they're pony. Driveshaft - The...

    Project: BMW E21.

Whilst it's away surely you can get a move on with the wheels? Amazing work though, nice to see it not being rushed either. This could turn out immensely well if you carry on at this rate. One of the most interesting threads on here for a while.

    The new cruiser..

Has it got staggered wheels? have they been fitted the wrong way around? :o Really lovely motor though, how's the interior? Spec?

    Titanium Ph1 Single Day Enhancement

Bloody cracking work, the pics don't do it justice (I was busy all day on the BMW so it's kinda my fault) :o The car's a credit to Scott with how mint it is (frankly insane) and a the depth of the shine and level of flake "pop" it had by the end of the day was just mental, such an amazing...

    leaking sunroof

Replace the clip of a breaking car, if it doesn't solve it, it shouldn't be difficult to figure out why it's leaking. If it's the one I'm thinking of you can totally remove it, then clean all the seals of any moss and grit etc.

Where are these bolts from in the engine bay ?

Oh. The other option is the three bolts that go into the upper gearbox mount I think.

Where are these bolts from in the engine bay ?

Those three at the top connect the engine mount to the engine I think, the cambelt cover piece.

Finally! Maybe yo'll clean the SOB for once, it might even stop breaking.

Adjust wheel alignment after height adjustment?

^^ Well I didn't. Hence asking! I don't know a great deal regarding alignment, but I'm interested to learn.

    Project: Petty shed

Good work, I'd definitely consider turinis though? They look lovely on PB. Get that bumper done as soon as though, it really lets it down.

Adjust wheel alignment after height adjustment?

Unless a racing driver, you're telling me what's probably 15-30mm of height is going to make any difference to how the car drives? The amount of toe added/removed would be so minor surely no one would notice and it'd probably still be within the the bounds of acceptable wouldn't it? I'm...

Adjust wheel alignment after height adjustment?

As long as you literally just wound them up, touched nothing else, and undid no suspension components then no.

Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner Glad the red is coming back, it was a part of the car's soul. Take car of it Russ and then sell it to me.
