we charge 18 pounds delivered for the pump as they are a common failure item.

check the bolts where it bolts to the hinge as there will be sign where the socket has marked the paint on the corners of the bolt head.

you hear them called a slip ring quite a lot mainly because of older cars with just the horn using it and it used to be a copper ring that the connectors slipped over while still making contact.

if its the same part number the price can't be different. I could appreciate it might be a different part number and still work but it won't be the same part number and a different price.

sounds like the throttle body needs a clean for a start, the low idle to begin with is quite common though.
