Thats cheap for a UCH!
My paperwork for my UCH was £285+ vat for UCH the rest was labour.
Came in at around £900+
All covered under warrenty tho luckily.
My ONLY issue with the car was full beam stuck on. Shows how many ways the UCH gives up. Others have had far worse experiences.
Ill go get some later :)
Its not the Brodit clip!
Its a bracket i made myself. (The brodit clip wedges up at the top and i didnt like having agap in the dash from that!)
This is a bracket at an angle with 2 rods welded to it. These then go into the release key holes for the radio ;)
Gave it...
Heres my current motor.
Reacaro Trendlines back in
Very snug!
A little embossed RECARO badge.
Alloy Footrest :D Fits in perfectly
Sat Nav Holder...fed up of the suction mount.
Took a brodit clip, didnt want it in the dash. SO it has 2 prongs on the mount at and angle which goes...
Thats true.
If he is using the NCB on one car he cannot use it on another in this case the 911.
So any policy he would start on that would be 0 NBC.
BUT as you say about Multi Car policy. Its not another policy as such, it depends if the insurer offers it.
Tesco, who i am with offer this as...
Yup.
Will fit no problem.
Easy to do yourself also. Remove the covering and theres 2 nuts to undo.
Might have to remove heatshield under car to loosen the cable to remove the handbrake.
Not a long job at all.
Nope.
All depends who he is insured with but it shudnt matter, im assuming he is fully comp on his policy?
A named driver will/should have the same cover.
My folks car is fully comp. Me as a NAMED DRIVER on the polic is also fully comp.
Simply CHECK with the insurer tho.
Insure you car as normal.
Then get added to your dads policy as a named driver?
Ive got my own insured, also added as named drivers both on my sisters car and folks car.
Not really. Once logged it must be cleared by a machine, so self removal on the car unless the fault is not valid no more.
But it seems that this fault will keep the light on.
Easiest way is just to live with it till its fixed.
Does seem very odd.
double checked all loom components are plugged in etc?
im assuming uve been over it all tbh.
worth checking the relays for dodgy fittings, seen a few of them.
UCH can fail in many stupid ways.
Mine was replaced in Nov.
Came back to the car and full beam was stuck on as soon as you turned the car on!
Everything else worked fine.
UCH has known to fail in many ways, lights stop working, wipers go mad, windows go up and down etc..
They have known to.
The official part is:-
"Fire Extinguisher - If you fail to render assistance in the event of a fire or take necessary precautions to prevent a fire from escalating is an offence"
LOL
I was bored, most of it is stuff thats out there.
Already had 5 PM's asking about stuff they had forgotten! or seen on the list.
Such as the high vis jackets, which they are now checking for apparently.
:o
It was mainly because when they see a GB sticker, they can expect easy money from...
Was with Plusnet for 4 years.

Raise the laptop using "feet" or curved holders.
They work a lot better and make lappy more comfortable to use. Im using a set of...
Heres my old car with MOMO RS3000 pedals i fitted.
As per replies, block of wood behind them when drilling. Plastic accel pedal take off and line up and you can get it 99% spot on.
I miss the old bus! was much more fun hehe.
The base plates are just standard M3 etc type plates for aftermarket mirrors. So if anyone already does M3 mirrors and stuff for the 197 i dont see why not?
These base plates were from Halfords hehe!
Its should come with a bag of them OR it maybe a seperate part number for those.
They are however just self tappers with large washers on them, nothing special!
So cant wait for this!
Pretty much sorted all things now :)
Heres a few things i put together to help anyon ecoming on the trip, hope it helps or reminds you of things to sort out.
