Yup, CS seems to devalue cars instantly.
Trade price on a 55 plate with 30k miles is £6k
(Feb price)
So adjust for millage etc....
Its a shame CS undervalues cars so much. I think we are to blame for all the low RS prices ;)
No, i dont think so, it simply has no working airbags or pre-tensioners. Altho with it recording an accident already i think they are already disabled now.
If you are willing to send the unit off id save the money and do that, works out SO much cheaper.
pre-tensioners can be picked up easily.
Otherwise id consider getting quote from dealer for full job and/or insurance claim possibly.
Right,
The pre-tensioners can be replaced easily by yourself. Sourced either new or second hand.
BUT because they have fired now, the airbag computer records this as an accident. This has to be replaced (So Renault say) or "Reset". If replacing it, the new one has to be configured by Renault...
This morning in the ricoh parked up next to the trolly bay.
Im pretty sure that was ur reg, i remember it from here also?
was between 9-10am
You survived the snow/car park hehe
I think they have the Renault 10 year paint warrenty or something?
Check the service/car book, im sure i read something about a paint warrenty.
Makes no difference about the car warrenty. Altho it has to be damage free etc....
and they will probably blame it on stone chips causing it lol.
Looks ace :D
Looking at the pics im sure i could read "Sutton" on the bin and i recognised the road i think.....then saw ur location LOL !
Not seen it about anywhere. will keep an eye out :)
I think its the same bulb that goes in the screen display for the radio/clock.
Its a very small bulbs, unsure of type at the mo.
Im pretty sure that panel needs taking off for you to access it tho, can be a pain in the ass tho!
Maybe listed in the haynes manual if you have one handy.
hehe
no worries.
As i said there are loads out there to choose from :)
Some say they dont work with some cable boxes due to the frequency they use on the remote controls.
But ive been told that this may now have been resolved...
Dont worry i knwo what you mean.
He is basicly running a Coax cable from the box to the telly and using the Sky Magic eye, which sends a signal back to the sky box to change it etc.
Now Virgin i dont think have anything like that.
SO we need to look at other stuff out there and there is...
Cool thanks guys.
Been emailing five tech support who keep saying its my end lol.
Was workign fine before xmas then since new year wham nothing but problems.

Anyone use Demand Five Tv catchup?
http://demand.five.tv/Home.aspx
It was fine before xmas, since then service has been crap!
Trying to watch a few things, constantly getting Buffering or just very very slow loading times.
Plays the adds before the programme fine, then service is...
Yup!! Probably a french one, seeing as it had not been opened from new...
Wasnt obstructing anything, but was lodged against the TB and Plenhum.
No idea why it was there, maybe used as a marking point then forgot about.
Just crappy design.
They revised this in the 1.2 16v 2004+ models when the engine got revised and throttle body moved to a better location.
Assume its faulty, or very dirty hence you wanting to clean it?
My old one has a paper clip wedged in it from the factory!! and was filthy as...
Deff mate, claim away :)
I assume you have some sort of learners policy or something? Not sure how insurance goes on learner vehicles?
Either way as you say, you should get your loss of earning etc all back.
My dad did with his work van, someone pulled out infront of himturning right.
He is...
It is really down to the company you are with and what protocol they use.
Some companies are pretty quick, have the car collected and assessed within days.
Some take a while to collect, assess and approve the repairs.
Give your company a ring, speak to the dept dealing with it.
Altho again...
Still classed as a claim.
Just a "Non-fault, excess recovered" type of claim.
If you claim on your insurance or anyone elses, still a claim which has to be declared.
Most companies have a drop down menu with many types of answers for it.
Well depends how you go about it.
Obv replace broken/exploded parts.
So Airbag and pre-tensioner?
Opt 1 - Replace airbag comp, then have it configured by Clip (renault machine)
Opt 2 - Have computer sent off, as per previous reply, PM bmh.01 hes done this before, much cheaper option
Opt 3 -...
