1)Get the Splitter held up to the car (get someone to help)
2) Secure it using masking tape only.
3) Drill a few small pilot holes from one end to the other.

I had this issue when selling my car.
Basicly i left it too late!!
Put my plate on retention, all the docs came thru, apart from V5 which took the full 4 weeks!! stupid thing....cudnt sell car till it arrived.
Also, put the plate on retention, unless your buying the new car before that.

No, they are for watching things on another TV and controling the box via the coax cable.
What you want is something like these
http://www.reallycleverhomes.co.uk/acatalog/Marmitek_PowerMid_XS_infrared_extender_set.html.
Hope that helps.
Better Guide:
1) Remove Battery
2) Allow minimum 30mins to discharge/settle.
3) un-bolt pre-tensioner from seat and unclip from wiring loom under seat.
4) Replace with un-fired pre-tensioner.
5) Connect up loom
6) Re-connect battery.
That should be it.
You should be fine as it wasnt that Airbag comp in that car that fired them.
Simply remove the battery.
Replace the fired pre-tensioner and that should resolve your problem.
