Ive come accross this as the main problem on the Mk2
3 cars of varying age. One as new as a 54 plate....
Airbag off and trim, clearly see the wires have broken on the ring.
But dont discount wiring down by the horn behind splashgaurd and/or dodgy horn.
The radio must be left on for it to reset itself.
The timeout doubles everytime you get it wrong.
So first time round its a 2min wait, then 4, 8 16, 32 etc....
You MUST leave it powered or it wont reset.
Ph1 :D hehe, after driving Limca's and Middos motors they are ace! If you can put up with going back a bit, they are great....a whole new project again :)
If not stick with the 182, do somethign new to that?
Dont move upwards into new debt unless you know it will be all okay to pay off...
Oh btw, if anyone wants to save fuel and possibly the driving in France.
Newhaven to Dieppe ferry is roughly £75, but you make the saving on fuel/driving.
Did they send you terms and cons???
It will state in there.
Most companies such as Tesco operate on a pro rota basis + 1 month as admin.
SOME companies take a lot more, such as 6 months in some cases!
Yer i spoke to DrRollo.
I think ill be doing the same thing to save on cost!
£30 Ferry
41 Euro double room hotel.
Just handy that there is a late ferry, but i think we will be doing the early morning run leaving here.
TomTom are bringing out a hardwired cradle for the *40 range of tomtoms later this year. (or maybe out by now)
That will do everything you want ;)
Also if you want it now and cheap, there are plenty of iPod adaptors for standard radios out there on ebay and good audio shops.
Increasing excess can make premium cheaper initially.
Plus a lot of companies have extra excess for young(er) drivers.
17-20
21-24
are normally classed as young drivers.
as he has already mentioned his standard excess of £500 + young drivers £250
Is a killer if you have to use it and not...
As per replies, as he is claiming off your company for the repairs you now have a valid claim, regardless of you getting yours fixed or not.
You will have to pay your excess and it wont be recoverable as you have a driver fault accident.
As for NCB, depends what your company does but i think...
Mine never ever ever has :(
Ordered a monitor on a monday using free postage.... didnt get it till following tuesday!
Always the way when i use the free postage with them lol, they just dont like me!
