dubstar - looking smart there mate!!
above is quite cool 2. and the car! would look sick if it was dropped on its arse as well!
I know it aint black but this photochop is lukin kinda smart with the dark wheels - loving the ride height too.
nemore for nemore?
thats looking pretty nice too as well mate;
are those turinis in anthracite?
I have seen a 172 on here (forgotten whos) in silver, with a photochop of turinins in anthracite, on HRs, looking pretty good as well - trying to stay with the black devil car scheme but now Im not 2 sure. some1...
Hi all;
Just looking at buying a 172 full fat in black (best colour IMO other than the cup blue) soon and am looking to see who has got one with black wheels, maybe anthracite?
Would be nice to see some with leggeras or turinis as I'm not a massive fan of the stock 5 spokes, or maybe...
bit of a long shot i know but...!
some scally (blatant) has tried to get away with ma 106gti, or at least its stereo by popping the passenger side lock - made a bit of a mess around the lock, hole, dints etc. Basically need a bodyshop to delock it and take the dints out on the door which were...
most people run the passive radiators in the back of the normal box. only suggested using a channeling port to another box because he wants a sub either side. dont use ported boxes unless your just a bass junkie - will never sound as nice as a sealed box.

how the pros make one of the maddest installs in the world.
simply make a wooden frame work out of MDF for where you want your subs to be mounted and then glass over...
do listen because sony are crap-ish but infinity aint exactly brilliant - look how much they are comparitvely. go for boston or mb quart like i said and you wont turn back trust.
btw - they might be what you listen to but they are only going to sound as good as the headunit you are running...
get an aerial that goes on your windscreen instead - literally sticks in place and you can hardly see it - if its good enough for mercedes then its good enough for me! then you can have whatever you like on your roof.
Sony speakers are ok mate and too be honest infinity arent that much ahead of them.
If you want some simple coxials for the back then it doesnt really matter too much what they are going to be. If you want a really nice sound and can afford £55 then go for a set of Bostons or for an extra 5er...
we were running a pionner SPL 12" sub that cost about £135 in a box - and it was very clear and never distorted neither. we were running this off a Phoneix Gold 2 channel Octane R amp which we got for £200 and that is a superb amp for the money.
previous to the pionner we were running an...
wicked lads keep it up! seen the metal monkey things - not bad.
I want to make a noble style dash where the needles change colour the higher they go - sounds cheap but looks dead smart!
Its easiest to amp them at the back of the headunit. obviously its better to replace the standard speaker wire because it is crap and thin and so you wont get as good quality but its a ball ache for a little gain!
On the doors where you have got the connecting piece to the door frame you will...
Just thinking about what im going to do with my valver interior once iv finished prepping the bodywork.
The only thing ive got so far is the 2 dial panel (audiosport) which replaces the middle heater vents.
Just wondered if anyone knows of any other trick bits you can get hold of?
Cheers
whos is this please?! was ripping round the track battering loads of cars, and just looked like a 1.2 with a side exit exhaust!

I know on pulsars you can take the whole unit and heat it in the oven, pull the orange bit out and then spray it, or cover it in kitchen foil or whatever then just glue it back in. worth a try?
car is proper mint man!
looks alrite - defo wud taken side strips and handles off tho. iv got a feelin that it will crap from the back, but fair play it is very different and i dont mind it at all. paint job aint to bad and it luks like a nice job.
feirce187 - it is the bodyshops fault - if you just fill the roof rails it will sink - same as if you remove handles and just use filler. what the bodyshop should of done is spot welded strips in all the way down and then knoccked the spots flat and then filled in any imperfections after - thats...
joker! u beat these 1.8T engines with valvers stock to stock easily - let alone a 172! haha - funniest thing is that a golf GTtdi would beat the 1.8T as well.
