my abs ring had gone (didnt know this at the time, and have found out only afterwards :( ) and the abs was on constantly etc when the light went out, my mechanic told me i needed a new driveshaft, this then has caused more problems as he fitted it badly and has damaged the bearing in the box...

yup done this myself 3 times and never found it on their site! my GT is KILLER Clio if anyone wants to add me for a game, oh and DAIR i'll give ya a race son! ;)

thank you mate, if the driveshaft had just been replaced then it would point to that wouldnt it? what would have to be wrong with the gearbox?

if a driveshaft that has been put on is either unbalanced or bent what symptoms would you expect when driving? i have a vibration through the pedals etc at around 4.5k up to 5.5k then it eases a little, through the pedals and whole front under my feet, the garage is claiming its my induction...

s**t i did this yesterday too, the garage did mine up tooooooo tight got the 3 bolts undone, but round and broke the locking key when trying to get the wheel off, really hoping the garage can get it off tomorrow as its going in, uhoh ;)
