if a driveshaft that has been put on is either unbalanced or bent what symptoms would you expect when driving?

i have a vibration through the pedals etc at around 4.5k up to 5.5k then it eases a little, through the pedals and whole front under my feet, the garage is claiming its my induction kit which i think is utter bullshit as its never done it before, only after it came back.

i really need some help guys as he's trying to fob me off and i dont want to let him get away with it.

what can i do if he refuses to acknowledge the problem? trading standards or something???

got a mate looking at it tomorrow to see if its bent etc but i would like some advice from the cliosport community

driveshaft bent or faulty gearbox

thank you mate, if the driveshaft had just been replaced then it would point to that wouldnt it? what would have to be wrong with the gearbox?

i told you mate hes a rip off merchant i changed my driveshaft and didnt get any s**t like that.

yup have been looking at trading standards sale and services of goods act 1982 iirc.

getting a mate who works for ford to have a look tomorrow and if its bent im ringing him straight back.

i even took all my induction kit off to rule it out f**king arsehole!! really not a very happy clio at the mo and that goes for me too
