Took the clio to Devon over the weekend and snaped this quick shot of the car with friends on board. I had a bit of a play with the image and quite liked it, so thought I'd share it!
If memory serves me correctly, the 1*2s are prone to whistling now and again. I seem to remember coming across a thread some time ago with discussion on this.
Have a search and see what you can find but I shouldn't be too worried.
Good point. Although, that requires someone standing there and filming me and my friends wouldn't understand enough to want to do it :(
I'll see what I can do over the coming week with a camera on the pavement job?
No Flamer is horrible! Gutting about the damage though chap.
I know what you mean...
Oddly, I think it may look better with a battery cover but I just cant decide on one I like.
I'm also not prepared to spend the money on a new one. Terribly overpriced really!
Thanks for the comments chaps.
The Simota Carbon Aero is a beast to be honest. It really does turn heads.
Engine bay is cleaned with a bristle brush thingy, fairy liquid and some elbow grease! White spirit is also good on things like the induction elbow.
Continuing the theme, I sprayed up a set of wing mirror covers and the engine cover. I also gave the CAF trumpet a lick of paint and started on the engine cover bolts but rain stopped play.
Personally, I love the look that the wing mirrors give. The engine cover will need to be redone but you...
Why is that 'laugh out loud' funny?
EDIT: Have just seen above post ;)
The trouble is, people on here will actually believe that amphasite is correctly spelt.
Where has this amphasite word come from all of a sudden? I've seen it being used quite a lot on here recently. Google it - seven results.
It's anthracite, which litterally means 'a type of coal'.
Honestly, just grab the bump strips in any colour you can and have them sprayed up.
If you sourced a rear bumper at the same time, a body shop should be able to do you a price that'd be chaper than having them done on seperate occasions.
