Im sure Ive seen a Ford Focus with a Subaru flat-4 engine and 4WD. I think it was featured in Cars & Car Conversions back in the day.
You'd need to do a lot of chopping and welding but sod it - the world needs more projects like this.
You'd end up with a powerful 4wd car with a rather short...
Im sorry but I really can't get over the TWENTY THOUSAND QUID price tag. I bought my new 200 Cup for £13500 in November 2010. Is this Silverstone shagbag really £6.5k more car?
For £20k I want Ohlins, Alcantara, Carbon Fiber, Cage, Harnesses, 9000rpm, etc..........something actually special.
Id say that was a good starting point, but you should be able to get that down.
Try and work out what the dealer has paid for that car and work upwards from there.
I paid £13500 for a brand new 60-plate 200 Cup with Speedlines, no other options.
I guess most of what Im about to say only applies if you are still considering a Cup. I picked up a Cup in November last year. Totally standard apart from black speedlines. I have a couple of regrets:

I have a 200 Cup and its the most balanced car I have ever driven. My last car was a 172 Cup and the 200 is so much easier to drive hard but still manages to be involving.
The only things I'd do would be to get rid of the annoying chattering noise when changing gear at high revs and to do...
Hey Chaps,
The gearbox in my 200 Cup seems noisy, I think when its warmed up.
If Im on a light throttle I can hear chattering and when Im accelerating or coasting down in say, 5th, I can kind of "hear the gears" - it just sounds rough.
Is this normal? Has anybody else noticed this?
The car...
I think its because the wing mirrors are not electric ones - they have the spazzy manual joystick adjustment instead. I'm guessing the thermometer was part of the electric setup.
My 200 Cup doesnt have exterior temp readout either, which is a shame because it is suprisingly useful and I do miss it.
I must have sat on a piece of silicone-putty (that funny bouncy play putty stuff) and its transferred quite nicely to the white part of one of my 200 Cup seats.
Before I go ruining the seat with all kinds of abortive cleaning attempts, does anybody know how to remove a silicone based stain from...
The manager from the car wash is coming to look at my car on monday. If he doesn't feel like paying for the rectification works then I'll simply tak ehim to the small claims court.
It was daft of me to use them really but it seemed conveneint and it looked like a fairly professional place...
