Yep, you read that correctly.
I just rang Renaultsport insurance for a quote to cover my 172 Cup fully comprehensive.
I am 26 years old
8 years NCB
No Accidents
No convictions
No modifications
5k miles per year
They declined cover because I am under 30 years old.
Well done Renault, well...
I know there is a simple answer to this but I ran an online insurance quote through Direct Line and got a shock.

Sems rather high, would you agree?
6p per mile. 10k miles "costs" you £600. The idea of setting a mileage at the start of the deal is to "guarantee" the car will be worth enough to settle the finance after the first two years. If you want to keep the car and re-finance the bubble then the mileage really doesnt matter at all. But...
Re: Renault factory not taking ordered for new Clio 200's
The dealer specifically mentioned a problem with conforming to new eruo emissions regs, I will check with renault UK
I have just placed an order for a new 200 Cup and the dealer has informed me that the factory is not currently taking new orders. This is because they have an issue with new emmissions regulations or something and they are trying to sort it out. Very vague.
Does anybody know more about this?

Does anybody know what brakes this person is running?
It staggers me how somebody can spend money creating something that awful, and stand back looking at it thinking "yeah, thats the business that is". Some people should be put down.
I think this is integrated into google maps, you can pick multiple points and it strings the route together. Not sure about putting it in order for you tho.
www.greatestdrives.com seems to use it
Cheers Jonny, I'm thinking new bushes all round and maybe a rear ARB. See how it goes then make some more changes. Druids was hairy in the wet but I actually quite liked it once I'd nailed the entry speed.
Did you get a run out in the 200 Cup? I had a session late on and couldn't beleive the...
I did a trackday at Oulton on wednesday and experienced more body roll than I would have liked.
I'm running standard dampers, Eibach Sportlines and Yokohama S-Drive tyres - so not on sticky rubber.
Is it possible to buy a stiffer front anti-roll bar? or am I barking up the wrong tree?
Kev
When I am Prime Minister I will add the following to the statute book.
If you steal something and you are caught, you will have an equivalent mass/volume/shape item inserted rectally.
So,
If you steal £100, you get 100 x £1 coin sized objects shoved up your arse.
If you steal a pair of side...
I had an issue where the big nut at the top that bolts the shock into the strut top had backed off on the passenger side. Made an awful noise and sounded scary. Nothing wrong with the top mounts and a simple fix - just nipped the nut back up - might be worth checking because it isnt obvious...
