Get Steve's 172 bought, you won't find a minter 172 for sale.
As for the turini alloys, if you prefer silver, just do a swap on here, someone will want some mint black turini's.
They say the ph1 is the fastest of the lot, but to be honest, get them in a drag race, and I doubt there would be any difference.
Depends what youre using it for, fast road or fast road/track, but i would go for a 182 with cup packs. Best of both worlds and better colour choice of the 1*2 range...
As everyone have said, get the belts done ASAP.
Also this is a forum where when advice is asked for, advice will be given on people's own experience, so it does pay to listen because 99% of the advice is correct. Also you don't have the cup packs on you're Clio, but you have an advantage that...
I wouldn't plan on getting it done, get it done, it would be such a shame if the belts snapped and ruined you're engine, especially on such a low mileage example, while you're getting the belts done, get it serviced to make sure the oil has been changed etc.
Good luck.
Good luck with finding one, take you're time and it's worth looking at the for sales on here, just make sure they have the Cam and aux belts done and a fsh.
Just a note that you'll be needing ET45 Turini's for the 182, so you'll def be needing the trophy turini's. Bide you're time on these, a set will come along.
I ran H&R's for a year, and had nothing but trouble with it, I had both shocks replaced due to the piston going at the same time.
When I looked into the problem, it's a common problem.
It looks bad but it's not as bad as it looks, a case of taking the door of and realigning it back up, a renault specialist should able to sort that out.
Dont do it, accept a bank transfer or cash, if they are genuine, they will accept that.
When I was selling the 182, so many scammers, especially offbauto trader.
Not being funny, but a knife like that would appeal to youngsters, and especially in the wrong hands, and a blunt blade is worse than a sharp blade. Too right all knives should be illegal, especially these days.
Re: Decision time. Help required...
Go UR, in a few years time, when you go to sell, there is going to be loads of GW 200's for sale and that's it.
The most desirable options will be recaro's and speedlines.
For fronts, def go for HC disc, DS2500 pads and uprated lines and fluids, as for rears, just go for standard discs and pads, the rears dont do much to warrant the money spent.
Either buy a second hand standard 182 exhaust, or ring Ktec, a specialist in 1*2's and ask them which exhaust they sell is the nearest to standard sounding.
Yeah I know the feeling, this guy said because of the low miles, the belts did'nt need doing. I questioned it, saying 48k or 5yrs for the belts, resulting in him saying Renault did'nt know what they were talking about...LOL
I looked at and drove a inferno 182 last week, 28K on the clock, wanted £4500 for it. Really wanted it, but was a bit of a dog, did'nt run brilliant for 28k on the clock, and the belts havent been done, which is more expense, plus needed a new splitter, tax, mot and new tyres all round. He...
