criky, ive just signed up to pipex as well, is there anyway round this throttling? will it affect torrents the same as newsgroups? i think you can decrypt your outgoing connections with utorrent, would that fix it?

the airflow is quite crap where it is right now as its only there temporarily till i move, i think ill ditch the coolermaster and get a standard fan/heatsink, its just too f'n loud

thing is this aero 7 fan is loud as f**k, i think its a bit ott to be honest as i wont be overclocking or anything like that, id be better with something less noisy, can hardly hear the telly lol

in idle according to the bios the cpu temp is 65 degrees and the mobo is 39, with the fan at its lowest 1770 rpm
with the fan up full pelt at 3600 it goes down to about 58 degrees

this is turnin out to be a nightmare, cant get mcafee to uninstall now, the progress bar hangs with about 2mm to go at the end, i cant get anything else to install till this is gone, f'n pile of s**t! my laptop ran for years with norton no problem whatsoever then this right out of the blue :(...
i cant be arsed burnin it all to dvd, my writer on my laptop is only 1x, they are networked wireless but its slow as a week in the jail doin it that way, thought it might be quicker with a wired connection...
if i dont disable it this happens..
any ideas?? its trying to scan all these random emails that ive never heard of b4, im takin it that its some kind of virus?.. ive ranthis for years with no problems, this is just out of the blue :(

is this any good for playing games? im not hardcore, just the occasional game here and there, also, i noticed people mention u need a graphics card that will stretch to a certain resolution, will the 9800 pro do this? id check but the pc is just bult and it has no monitor and i cant be arsed...
