this is getting wierd, thru wireless im now getting this:

ive just connected my laptop to the phone socket direct and it popped up saying connected at 6.8mbps done the speed test and it came up with 5.6mbps download and 400kbps upload so, does anyone know why connected thru the wireless modem/router that my down is only 750kbps?

hmm looking at my router config, looks like the tests are working fine! how do i find out what im actually connected at? i was just assuming that the 'connected at 6.9mbps' pop up that appears when using the modem directly to the phone socket, was the speed i was getting from the isp.. heres...

hmmm im using 11g 3 com stuff, modem firewall router (firewall is off), a usb wireless dongle for the pc and a pc card for the laptop ill try connecting up thru a modem direct to the phone line see what it outputs.

how much does wireless affect your speed? im connected at 6.9 with pipex and the tests are showing my download at 750kbps and upload at 375kbps is this right?!

id go for a panasonic, in the shops they always look the sharpest and clearest imo even when your quite close up to them, the rest all look grainy when too close even the bravias etc

honestly mate, the sound is nowhere near as bad as everyone makes out, i use it just for normal tv most of the time and its totally fine, some ive heard are 10 times worse
