Need Some Help With news groups

I have tried to follow the sticky guide on here as much as poss, just a little stuck.

I have just payed for £5s worth on https://www.newsdemon.com/ this is for a month and 10GB limit.

I have a username and password etc, and i have downloaded newsleacher... and setup the server as shown below. I dont know what the server nickname, but I dont know where to find this.

And now I have newsleecher setup, where do I downlaod the files? :S

Ok so I know I can download files from Newsgroups but how do I get my hands on them?

There are 4 main “ingredients” which you need before you can set about downloading files. These are –

1, A News server - You chose Newsdemon

2, A Client for downloading the articles (Files are commonly referred to as articles – A reference that’s stuck from the days scientists used Newsgroups to send articles between themselves) - You're using Newsleecher

3, A Usenet Binary Index (Essentially a search site similar to many Torrent sites you will have seen) - You still need to follow this part of the tutorial

4, Finally a data verification/recovery program.

Usenet Binary Index - Don’t let the name put you off. For all intents and purposes it’s a simple search engine that searches for the file of your choice. It’s perfectly possible to search each and every News Group to see what’s on offer but with literally ten’s of thousands it’s easier just to perform a search. Rather than simply return a list of matches it provide extra information such as file types, file sizes, info on the “author” of the file and so on..

You now have the ability to download files from Newsgroups but we need to find the file(s) you want. For this I recommend www.newzbin.com. This also charges people to use but fortunately it’s only 25p a week. Use the link on the left hand side to register an account.

EDIT - Change "connections" to 8 in your server setup.

Its having problems downloading. Just says error occured.

502 error means that the login details aren't correct. Double check you've entered your Newsdemon login/password details exactly as they should be.

Nope server nickname can be anything you choose.
