As this is basically a BMW owners club now, below are my z4 seats.
These obviously fit in the e85/86 cars, but apparently also bolt directly into VW camper's.

I have second dibs yes, I've also been working out ways to get new ones for not TOO much.
That set I missed out on do yes.
I can get new ones with falkens for about 1£50 more than it's going to cost me to sort the 108's properly with falkens.
I'm trying to sort it.
Right, update today and a bit of mammoth post:
Fitted my "gaptech" today, for those in the non z4 world this basically a small unit that piggybacks on the roof control system. It allows two things:
1) Control of the roof using the BMW key, (three taps of unlock to open roof, two taps of...
I'd have taken them and tried to free them up!!! Would be good for my garage full of parts that I'll use when I finally find THAT ph1 for my track/fast road wekeend car.
When I saw the add I did wonder why it was up for sale. I also wanted to buy it, badly :(
Why are you off to Canada mate??
Also, I assume you sold the coilovers on? Not just threw them! (I know what you're like).
Genuine question here (don't flame me), why is it people some to run MAHOOSIVE wheels on these???
Don't get me wrong, they're one of few cars where they actually look far better on huge wheels, but on most cars people steer away due to adverse affects on handling etc...
Like here...
Plug into into a tv/screen via a VGA cable.
Normally FN and one of the F buttons will turn the screen on, look at the logos on the buttons.
I'd just plug in an external HDD and transfer all you need, clear the laptop and sell it on ebay.
Have you bought springs for the wrong engined car? That's all I could assume. i.e a heavier 2.0 lump may bring it down more?
Looks good apart from the front still being too high. My apex 40mm springs bought my 1.2 mk2ph1 down miles!
Understand your not wanting to make it harsh, when you fit the dogbone mount you may get a little more vibration coming through on idle, but after about 300 miles it settles down and you can't tell it's fitted.
Difference is when (more like if with you) you're hooning it around some lanes...
146 posts and the floppy haired f**ker hasn't even posted a picture he's taken yet. FFS!
Make sure you go poweflex on the dogbone mount Kev, it's the only one worth doing IMO. I'd go with a full set of stiff mounts if it were purely a weekend/track car, as vibrations and the like don't matter...
Same picture three times now! Post no more.
Inform the insurance it's not an exclusive then.
It's a mk2 ph2 172, the exclusive was a mk2 ph1. So it's even the wrong body shape.
Renault Sport Clio 172 is the car you have.
You're writing definitely gets better as you get further into the article, you seem to just find a flow you're lacking a little at the start (imo of course).
An enjoyable read though.
Take the wing nut off the front of the box and stick your pinky in the hole.
You should be able to feel fluid if you curl your finger down a bit.
Alternatively, take off the undertray, if there's 7 tonnes of GB oil everywhere, you'll know it's all gone.
Very nice indeed.
Re the weels, you have two options, powder coat or paint, problem being, powder coat will not adhere to plastic, but some good powder coaters will often have a paint equivlant of the powder coat they have used, so if you phone a few local companies, some may offer to powder...
