Bloody love this, I even love the wheels, think they look great on it.
Shame it's an auto, but needs must. I'd like to have a go in an auto to see how they feel, I just get the impression they'd feel very lazy? I guess sport mode could prove me wrong.
Have I read that right? You've got three wheels the same and one different?
I'd personally contact the manufacturers or someone that sells them (either set) and try to get one more wheel.
It doesn't actually matter which one you get, but I wouldn't be running three and one, I'd want to run...
Unlike everyone else I'm not surprised at all, I wonder why?
I can't wait for some proper pics and for you to get "all Kevin" on it, replacing perfectly good parts with new parts because they're shinier n' ting.
Seriously though, I have tried one with the yano kit, but everyone has had...
My roof is fine.. How does yours 'creak'? There is however SOMETHING behind the passenger seat that clicks/creaks. I need to find it before I lose the plot.
As I said, they're spare so I'll probably give lacquering them a go. I don't know if they'll need a high grade wet sand first though?
You can normally pick them up cheap as chips, so don't worry.
Either get them sprayed (have all of them colour coded) or contact Renparts or go to a local breakers and take them off another car. It'll cost peanuts.
I'm amazed at your opinion Chip.
Like Luke says, there's a million other things on here to look at other than "just" Clio's.
I stick around for quite a few reasons:
Detailing
Gym
Photography
BMW advice
Helping out members with issues I've had in the past or offering a hand etc.
It's not just...
I think the comment may be "it's not a very good engine to tune", not what "it's not a very good engine to start with". Perhaps stupid was a bit harsh, but it just seems to be a comment of someone who doesn't take in all they read on here and just glances over comments.
I honestly believe...
What a silly thread.
You've pretty much answered your own question along with adding in some rubbish for good measure.
People don't rate modify the Clio's like they do the Saxo's/106's because they don't respond aswell. Spend £500 on a 106 and you'll see a real difference, do the same on a...
I'm sure it was a lot less than that when Adam172 ordered one? Not that I'm questioning for you all knowing Danny, but I'm sure it was closer to half that.
Well I got a little bored tonight and had these laying in the cupboard off of my original wheel:
I'm fairly sure it'll be too much carbon effect inside, but as said, it cost me nothing so I thought why not.
I may even trial lacquering these, see what sort of finish it gives.
Oohhh, yes please!
When I/we do it I'll be sure to the photo and video the process just for you.
As I may well need you one day for boiler information. ;)
Genuine LOL considering who it used to belong to.
Right, now you've got to call in some favours.
You need someone with the same car as you to take a photo of what colour wires go where, then someone with the car the seats came out of to do the same.
The passenger side looks stupidly easy, right amount of wires, so I'd just assume the colours...
Holy s**t. Do not do what he's suggested, you'll probably cause a fire, let me have a read, then advise.
My advice, take it to someone who knows what they're doing.
If you strip the tape that's holding all the wires together back so you can see them all individually, then take some better...
