Re: Stanced TT Roadster to... not as exciting MK3 Dynamique S 1.6 VVT - Tasteful Pro
Weirdest change ever. Love that TT, really really awesome. I bet the Clio's worse on fuel too ;)
I'd personally have gone for a 197 as it wouldn't have felt like such a step down!
Are you selling the...
My plan is to buy some foam to play with the size of it, unlike Ant, I love the noise, but I'd like to it be about 25% quieter.
As for why not have exhaust and induction noise, I've had a mixture before, I quite like just having one or t'other personally.
Tommy - 135i coupe has been shouting at me for a while now but I'm avoiding it, maybe in a year :o
If you could find and photo that piece of foam I'd really apprecaite it mate, I'm pretty sure I remember Laura saying she only took the same bit out you have, so should be prefect.
Deutsche -...
Cheers Brendan, the other marques section at CSS this year should be awesome, soft top corner for sure.
Well, I know what we'll be doing next weekend for a laugh... LOL!
I think that's the //M? I'd love to be proved wrong though!
Well, I didn't do the mod, Laura, did, so I'm not entirely sure what the foam is supposed to look like. If I could see some pics of some or something maybe I could cut a sponge up and stick it in? lol!
Thanks mate, I love the...
Cheers Russ, I can't wait to get it back to summer mode though, along with a bushes refresh and alignment I should be in love with it again.
I have been considering an exhaust but I'd need to buy a new sound generator as having the foam removed from mine means lots of induction noise, and tbh...
If you're like me you haven't exactly had a wealth of chances to try and get the car sideways, i.e somewhere you don't have to worry about hitting something if you spin or whatever.
The snow is a great place to have a go and see how it reacts because it'll do what it normally does but in slow...
I should have come over mate!
Vein, I've done loads of miles, including quite a few just for fun, it's such a controllable car with the light back, it doesn't have a lot of weight to pull you about so I drove around a lot of deserted roads in Luton/Sidcup very sideways having great fun.
I've been having ludicrous amounts.
Done Luton to Sidcup in the zed today (yes, that's right, 60 odd miles), and popped out to grab a bite, then popped out again to drop the mrs home. I just drove down quite a long section of road 100% sideways giggling like a girl.
I love having the track...
I'm at about 113k now! It seems that most with their zed's don't use them much!
I'm not really sure on selling up, I might rack up about 17k more then sell it, insurance is cheap this year so why not eh? I'm about to do a full rubbers re-fresh and new tyres so it should be superb for summer...
I love it it says the manual is dead, but no one really explains why.
I don't see how it's an advancement, it's just different, and just being different doesn't warrant getting rid of the original one.
Is it faster? Sure. Is changing gear as fast as possible any concern to a lot of road car...
I'd take that, sell the wheels to some idiot on ed12734 or whatever it's called, fit standard 18's, put a facelift front gille if it's not already got one, std lights and away you go.
He's dead cheap and the quality is great, what size wheels? I'll get you a price for tyres off if you want? So just drop off, have them done and pick up, you sort the tyres?
