im pretty sure that you can take it back and at the least get a refund on it. Afterall its a false sale, theyve sold you something that says its one thing but actually is something completely different. Make a big fuss about it, and who knows, they might throw in some free paint for you troubles
recently i have been experiencing what sounds like the same problem as above. However the knocking noise only occurs when i turn full lock to the left. ive also checked for signs of rubbing on the arch liner and there are non, my guess is it has something to do with the top mounts
recently i noticed that any temperature or speed i have the vents on it seems as if exhaust fumes are coming through them, has this happened to anyone else. If i kept my windows up i could probably knock myself out! and want to get it sorted before i cant drive with the windows down
tbh if you got that for 400 quid and all the major things ie engine chassis etc are in order i think its a bargain and personally i would love to undertake a project like that. And if its for the track it doesnt matter how bad it is to live with day to day. am sure with some time, money and care...

i have next to no experience with the technical side of cars so was wondering whether it is easy enough to replace a bootlid myself. Obviously this includes all the wiring for the locks the heated window, break light and washer hose. is it possible to give it a go myself??
