Alarm bells should be ringing Craig, they want his money, most probably the baffles have gone in the mid section/backbox. Get him to replace the exhaust 1st then see if the problem is still there.
The tensioner had been changed in the past 10k(according to reciepts) so i didn't do it this time, however it would probably have needed jacking up for that.
Unsure, it's non genuine so makes me think its been changed at some point, however the cambelt was done in January and the muppets at Hi-Q must have put the origional aux belt back on:mad: , but the car itself has just hit 57k.
Been planning on changing my aux belt since i bought the car, was waiting till this weekend as i have a week off work incase any difficulties. Anyway took bumper, slam panel and headlight off, loosened the alternator bolt and that was it. No need to remove the wheel or jack up the engine here:)...

If it idles fine it must be one of a kind;)
Generally there a little ruff on idle, not too bad, if the air bag/serv light is on its usually the connectors under the seat, check the rear discs as they aren't cheap. Belt changes and proof its been well looked after with regular services is...
