I had them done for mine about 2 years ago. Pain in the ass!! Took them ages to get the curve correct. Also, they need to be made of the stronger vinyl. As the normal ones will not survive normal car washing etc..... Mine have been on over 2 years now and they have survived harsh cleaning...

Exactly... the 4300K produces the best light possible. When put with a good set of lens' you still get the purple/blue tinge. The 182 for example have newer and better lens'. When using bulbs such as 6k, they loose a lot of useable light. Most if not all cars are fitted with 4300K bulbs...

Yes bulbs need to be for road use/legal If the tester feels that the bulb is not illuminating or functioning correctly they can fail it. A common one is off road use only brake light bulbs that are LEDs.

Be carefull on adjustment !! the Clio Xenons if adjusted too high really do blind! Get them adjusted properly/ Range Rovers etc only blind you because they are high up, with the Headlights being higher up!

Yes its just a different gearstick to match the different gearbox the Dci100 has. Yup a lot of Dci models had the climate upgrade option taken.... The sat nav is the cheaper model to the £1500 Colour sat nav option. It was about a £700 option, was a cheaper alternative to the colour one...

You will probably have to find the XP drivers from each manufacturer. I did the same with my new laptop! Vista sucked.... XP Pro back on with Ubuntu, much better :D

Factory fitted or not. They ARE an OPTIONAL EXTRA from the manufacturer. So is not fitted as standard when you buy a 182 or any other car from a show room.

Common problem on these. Every 1.2 - 1.4 ive been in has had this. They tend to "flop" about quite a bit. Crap design really.

Funny you shoudl say that. Ive just recommended this one to somebody, very nice laptop for the money. Got to use it yesterday, removed a lot of crap that gateway ship with it, but it runs sooo much nicer after. Lots of stuff for your money. So another recommendation from me as for this one.

Spot on Dave. Thats the only proper tool to get your faults from your lil Renault. Hence the Diagnostics Charge being pretty high from Renault. Best bet is to find an independant Specialist who has the equipment and pay to have it checked when you need to rather then waste money on cheap tools.

The fault code machines will nto display ALL fault codes which maybe wrong with the vehicle. You need a specific Clip Diagnostics Machine to get a full list of codes that maybe effecting your car. These are simply "standard" codes that are available when the Engine Management Light comes on...
