More then possible.
My ever so slight blow from the centre = cat join was so small but the power loss felt quite bad.
So yer it will probably effect it.
After making sure mine wasnt blowing now, it feels so much more responsive.
The downpipe to cat is normally fine
the cat to centre section is normally the culprit under hard acceleration. Mine was fixed but then started blowing (real nasty noise) above 4k.... was a tiny hole in the seal, paste had cracked up.
The centre section to back box is normally also fine as the...
It will be that join !!!
Cat > Centre Section...
Its the crappest join ever. Had to play with mine so much, even when we thaught we had it bang, started blowing so slightly the noise under accleration is horrible.
Heavy duty zip ties are good.
I also used rubber mounts from Halfords, cut them to size to wedge the existing ones up. Held in place by screws or more ties.
Can be done well.
Could just be your mount thats on its way out.
Push the pipe up and see if it levels up better. My mounts were all perished and it caused the exhaust to sit wonky.
Replace the mounts or get them held up using other methods.
Not all no
Seeing this on Trouble (177)
seen it on ITV4 and also Sky News...
The worst channel is Trouble tho, like really obvious that the compression is sooo bad
Watching Sky TV and it seems to be suffering from very bad pixelization tonight?
I have a pvr3 Thomson Sky+ box... i know Sky has never been brilliant for quality, but tonight its just very bad.
Watching Trouble, getting really bad pixel disturbance between breaks and also during what i watch...
Its obviously plastic bumpers.
Something has scraped it.
If the white residue left is paint from whatever scraped it, T-Cut or scratch remover will get most if not all of it off.
If it has taken your paint off there is nothing you can do to ocver it up apart from get it sprayed or touched up...
Its going into "Limp Mode".
Seems there is a fault. Will need to be put onto a diagnostics machine to find any codes that are stored.
Could be a number of things. Id suggest popping the bonnet and checking what you can, making sure all plugs are connected, battery etc....
Looks like he ordered the part from Renault.
They order it as a special order so it cannot be returned for a refund.
Id get the garage who told you it needed the part to pay for it !! They obviously didnt read the special notes for the vehicle. Id be angry!!
The rubbers are held into the plastic by 2 pretruding edges into the plastic shaft.
Look down the bottom and you will see 2 squares, push them in and dig the rubbers out. They maybe a lil tight from new, but once they have been in the car for a few days they will f**k up like the last ones!
I...
Yer happened to me before.
Takes a while getting them out but it is possible.
As i said putting a tiny bit of glue on the new ones will prevent this happening in the future :)
Good Luck with it !
Only way to get them out is long nose pliers and a wire with a hook at the bottom.
Be careful tho you dont damage anything.
Once out, the best way to stop it happenign is to take the rubbers out and put some super glue to hold them in on the edges. Perfect after.
I know which one this is.
I didnt have to remove mine at all. The wiring is removable without cutting or breaking anything. I GUESS its to do with how it was put in place at factory.
Looks like in the guide they have run it thru the seat making it impossible to remove again. Mine was a bit...
