im having issues with a helix clutch, cost a bloody fortune, and is screwed after 4k. and it doesnt get hammered as the cars not running well enough to boot hard. would a oe one handle 250flb without dying in a week?

right people. i have the change the clutch in the willy turbo at some point soon. im currently running a helix unit for a 172, as i have the larger flywheel fitted so i could run the omex. the helix one has run 4k if im lucky, in 3 years, so im looking for one that can handle 250lb of torque...

i run ngk bcr8es in mine and have always been fine, apart from getting coked up due to overfuelling, but this will soon be sorted.

the gauges on these things are s**t. mine sits around the same and ive got 5 and a bit grands worths of turbo lump. dont worry about it. as long as the the oil warning doesnt come on, youll be fine.

i have a new main mount, 4th front mount and new gear box mount, so i just think the powerflex one is to harsh imo

i had a uprated one on the dogbone on the turbo, took it off after 2 days. didnt like it. depends if your going for stripped out racer or every day car to be honest
