    Not nescessarily(sp) just join it with a sleeve and 2 clamps.

    Thats not for the 16v, possibly the 8v engine. If its a std exhasut then the rear box wil have to be cut off as it's one piece from back box to cat join.

    My backbox does it at 2k and then about 3.5k, i think the baffles are going in it.

    Just checked powerflex's site and they refer to it as a bush, althought it clearly specifies both in the kit, so this kit should be 100% fine.

    The main engine mount would be 1st to check, see how far you can move the engine by hand(back and forth).

    Have you checked the other mounts at all to rule those out?

    Is either system better on the 172s, ph1 being twin cylinder and ph2 having the one? I was intrigued by Daves project where Mark Fish made his ph2 cat a larger opening.
