    Bonnet seal?

Must be just me - but I don't think that's too bad for an OEM piece of kit? I'd pay it. When you look at the front splitter from Renault however, at £238+VAT for a strip of plastic - that's an entirely different story!

The everlasting ph1 ITB Build **GREEN-BUILD STARTS AT PAGE 100**

Same here. I downloaded my entire PB album a while - never gone back to it. A shame really as aside from the ad-heavy usage, it wasn't too bad a service. For some reason, I just can't get on with the way Flickr works.

    One for Gally?

I never, ever, ever understand this?! Granted, not everyone wants to make the car they are selling looks concours. But even a mildly warm bucket of Fairy liquid infused water, used with a 99p sponge would make this appear MUCH better. If they can't be arsed to give it a simple once-over, what...

How we used to buy games in the 90's...

£54 for the 512k daughter board for my A500. Bought it from Stewart Electronics on Penny Meadow in Ashton-under-Lyne - I think they are still trading to this day? I only got it to play FTL's Dungeon Master as that needed a full 1MB to run. Struggle to remember the crap I did at work yesterday -...

    Ataribox

I had both of those joysticks above. The top one was superb for quick left/right action - like when you had to waggle the stick for games like Daley Thompson's Decathlon, on the C64. I remember the sore arms from the b*****d 1,500m in that game!

Looking forward to trying a curved monitor with games. That one looks massive - lol. :)

    Hello - prospective owner

Given it's age, it might be worth giving it a clean and some under-seal, beneath.

    Mazda 3 mps mk1 progress

Totally agree. Why do people play blind ignorance to maintaining their car - then whinge like a b**ch when the thing failed and made them late for work/not able to pick the kids up, etc. Especially on higher performance cars such as these. Don't sit there and expect "your mate" up the road to...

53 plate? Must have been a very early one? I thought all 182's were registered '04 onwards?

    Nurburgring (outside) road crash

Both cockpit areas look to have held up well. Kudos to the engineering geniuses that make these areas as resilient as they do.

My first PC hard drive - a Quantum IDE unit from November 1992. A grand total of 52MB. About two years later, I got another hard drive at 340MB capacity, though I can't recall who made it - possibly Maxtor. That was about £220 at the time - lol. Yeah - the arcade machines were on a level that...

Same here! Do you remember that awful grinding crunch noise that you used to hear when putting the cartridge in? It was like gravel on brick - lol.

Me too - I remember Silica as well. Was it Computer User or Computer Shopper magazine that was literally like half-a-phonebook thick each month and just packed solid with ads such as these. That hard drive makes me laugh Andy (@SharkyUK ) - I was only this week looking at the 10TB Seagate SATA...

Strange how different games affect different people. My mate feels sick within a few minutes of the majority of FPS games. Yet he has been an avid fan and player of all the Wipeout games. You would have thought that would have sent him hurling within seconds!

How we used to buy games in the 90's...

I used to like having a wander into some computer shops to see what they had, software wise. Most had the mainstream titles of the day, yet others coughed up a few rare gems. Strangely, HMV in Manchester in the underpass facing Boots often had really quite obscure games in that weren't common. I...

How we used to buy games in the 90's...

I remember going into to one store in town where they had a copy of Gauntlet II on the Amiga for £13.95. I wanted it - but not at that price. It didn't sell for weeks and then one day there was a £4.99 sticker on it. Took it to the counter and they actually accused me of taking a £4.99 sticker...

Looks very similar to one I used all the time called Special Reserve. Used to get a magazine/catalogue sent out monthly (iirc?) with games lists on there and also PC systems. Like you - I remember paying for stuff then eagerly waiting days for it to turn up. None of this next-day Amazon Prime...

    Ataribox

That looks epic! The Atari 2600 was my first introduction into gaming, way back in 1981. Defender was by my favourite initially - though I do recall the cartridge being £35 even back then!

    Weird noise left front

That would be my first thing to check too. There might have been some fouling of debris stuck in the wheel arch too - that you may have run over/caught?

    New 271bhp Hyundai i30

Not too bad. A bit Ford looking from the front, a little VAG at the rear. Almost a Foolf or Gocus... Would have been nice to be a bit more daring with the overall shape though - like they did with their Veloster. It's perhaps a little too safe. Manual though!
