I was genuinly interested to be honest. I've always been against buying a car brand new unless you genuinly can afford it and its *spare* cash. Leasing does sound like a fairly good option considering I've had my 172 for 3 months and so far its cost me at least £2500 buying it and repairs...

Cheers bud the garage has fitted the dogbone and reported the noise is gone apart from an occasional knock. They suggested it could be the drivers side mount but it wasnt neccesary to replace it yet.

Well changing the dogbone Is just good practice from what I hear. The noise seems to be coming from the lower gearbox mount then as the noise feels like its near the front right wheel.
