Its only common on the 182's. also the way there ABS is programe form new can cause this isue if its not fixed. It can be a faulty switcvh on the 172 but its very rare.
Check the brake switch hasn't come loose its easy to fit.
Its rare to get the ECU laight for the switch ask the garage...
In gear and round a track sicne 100 dci and 1.4 are the sam hp the diesel will win 0-60 is about the only time the petrol will win.
I woulnd't be to sure I wasn't far behind a 1.4 on a drag strip type drive upto decient speeds and mines only 65hp.
7 hours labour depends where you go say £50 an hour at a garage any good place who specialise in clutch will know what to do as you've got to near enough get the box off to do the clutch.
Then a new clutch £80 and some good new fluid £50 then a new box can be got for £440 I think cheaper for...
Ben has the best idea but best and popular are different.
Recomended new ones then you get new ball joints and all unworn etc but you can just get a press and push them out.
I don't rate them amazingly better than stock realy. There better though.
You can get the Green stuff for £36 though.
Stock FDB845 are fine even for track use.
It depends on the car gains wise. Personaly I'd not go with either it would be Pmurry or chipwizards etc as they will check the fueling when they map the car not just do off the shelf remaps as you need a remap for your car exact performace not a one type fits all.
The plugs a poor design the answer has been posted many times before but the airbags light should also throw the airbag light not just the serv one
Fix is stated here. http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=108607
The airbags will come on even if the lights on though.
Have a look in track and race car they did afew reviews of the race car and it won there acar of the year (both the road and the cup racer).
No owners on here that I know have a new one there a few Mk1 cup racer car owners but that it best leave a message on renaultsport see if someoen on...
The SERv light only comes on when there a problme nothing to do with services.
Usualy accompanied with another light if not check oil.
It need to be plugged inot the Renault computer realy for the fault to be found.
It has been covered many times before.
Have you used the right shock did you put it together right?
That just donesn't look right at all I recon the shocks used or fitments wrong (although to mess up fitment near impossible to end up like this)
I forget what the none common pads codes are but £17 or so they'd be for the Ferrdo form halfrods etc then get some disk from well most place so long as there not fancy as Imo there usualy wasted.
Just forget it when you start playing with a turbo at low boost level the porting etc won't make a differecne the 2.0 head probably will flow better anyway.
What have yo done best just use the whole engine its easier plus put the car out of action for less time you cna build the turbo block etc and then drop it all in.
172 will win unless the 1.8 it chipped ans stuff there much heavier and not as powerful (most of the time they do a few spec but even the quicker ones 210hp etc arn't that good thanks to weight).
