It's a shame the Atari Jaguar never caught on.
I've still got my Atari Lynx in the attic at my parents house somewhere! I was in awe of that handheld in the very early 90s. I recall a few mates had the original GameBoy and the Lynx just utterly trounced it in terms of game appearance and...
It's really tricky at times - frustratingly so. I'm totally stuck at a point that I'm currently saved at but I'm reluctant to Google the answers.
The second game is a massive improvement over the first. There are sections of proper genius in this game, very reminiscent of the feelings I had...
Cracks me up when you see the world record on time trials in games at like 12 seconds or something. I recall the DiRT games being particularly affected by glitching - in DiRT3 I saw one stage down to 6 seconds for the world record. I loaded the ghost car and the fecker just disappeared after...
Some of the PC games I dug out over the weekend. Definitely an era never to be repeated - certainly in a mainstream way, anyway. The packaging, the manuals, the accessories - really only matched by the high-end specialist collections these days. One of the downsides with the market trends of...
Wish I'd done the same with the Evo at Anglesey tbh. Rather than having four of those paddle-steamer sized 18s rotating with a shitload of weight, I bet 15s would have transformed it on track.
Interestingly, the JDM Evo VI RS came with 15" steelies straight out of the factory. Arch gap galore -...
I think the lesson learnt here is to say b****cks to any form of bullet-drop, etc - and simply pull the trigger when the target is in the crosshairs. He hardly ever leads the target at distance either. I'm going to try the same - can't be any worse than my attempts and adding real-world effects...
I'm thinking Amazon Instant Video or Netflix could make a series about the levels of fun you have with car ownership.
I'm pretty sure you've pissed off somebody in a previous life. Or have returned from the future, thinking all electric cars are good, and now the Man-Spec cars are failing on...
Interesting view. I'd never feel that to be honest. Those who wouldn't know, probably wouldn't even care what it was.
If you're driving the genuine article, all concerns of other people's opinions and thoughts go out the window for me. They are obviously entitled to have their own views on the...
Respect to anyone who can get decent results with the headlamps on the car, with the 3M kit. Tried it twice now and at best, the results have been 'meh'. Such a difficult light to polish consistently with a rotating drill bit on highly curved headlight.
I really should remove them and do it...
Wouldn't the standard non-RS V6 simply be too lethargic to be driven in anger? Although no VTEC, the F4R is pretty rev-happy. I would have thought the V6 would be more designed with torque in mind and for cruising on motorways.
Then with the added weight over the front axle, the nimble response...
So true - absolutely bang on.
Usually they ride their brakes on anything resembling a downhill slant of tarmac - and my god, if a truck or a bus comes the other way, then it's an immediate drop from 21mph to 7mph.
If I time it wrong on the morning commute, I can end up following a woman in her...
Going to have a go with XBox One controller and see what I get. Will be good to simply make up an additional name to the list - no way will I threaten the top places!
I don't get it. As a sniper, I scope up and try to get the best shot I can. Yet this bloke is barely doing that? Some of the shots look pap and yet he still gets the result. Clearly has skill, but some of those are fluke.
The 98T cracks me up - I actually managed one lap of the 'Ring without losing that thing once.
Granted, my time was god-awful - but I did it! The lag on that thing is/was insane.
Do you remember which part you quit on? There have been a few times where I've come close to throwing in the towel, so to speak - but I keep chipping away at it.
I wish I had the same feeling m8. I currently feel like I'm five pages from the end of a long novel that started out brilliantly and has increasingly lost my interest. I'm so close to seeing the end though, that it would be silly to quit now!
Nothing 'grabs' me anymore with it. Secret hunting...
So basically, DOOM was built from the ground up to be an online game. OR. It was play tested by gaming gods. Either way, as a single player campaign FPS it sucks root. Royally.
The game requires, no, DEMANDS that you pursue unlocks. You have no choice if you want to survive. That in itself...
With the exception of the of the silly 500L and it's siblings, its nice to see Fiat maintaining a small, almost cute platform that is appealing. The likes of Mini have lost their way completely with the newer models - hideous, bloated, tall things that just don't appear to match the brands'...
