@Tibbs - Chris above is right though. You can get slow cars that are cool in their own way and people accept that. Spending hard earned on making a basic, near 23-year-old car 'sound nice' is just a waste.
You might as well stick an AMG badge on the back for all the relevance it will have. As...
No performance benefit over it's SSD sibling, but a useful capacity for the price if you have an M.2 slot free on your mobo....

Supplied by Scan, yet strangely is over £25 more if you buy it through them?
Something's definitely not 'right' with me on this game. Some of the shots I make are pure BS and others against me are just as bad. I don't think I've played a BF title where I keep scoring hit after hit with little in the way of a result. Then I can round a corner, not even attempt to scope-up...
I was so close to ordering mine in petrol blue. The ID Paint cost though was just too much at the time - 10% of the new car's value!
I thought there were a lot less PB's made against that list above, too? I thought it was only around a dozen?
I'm in a similar way - but I've got a soft spot for the old PC stuff. When games came in sleeved boxes that had manuals, maps, keyboard overlays, even miniatures.
These were times when effort put into the overall package was just as important as the game itself. Absolutely nothing like the...
It is silly though. The fact that you're taking up a player slot in order to piss about with your current kit? And I bet the majority of players CBA or are even aware of that app existing?
That was definitely a 'duh' decision if ever there was one.
No way! That's a shame - the whole B-movie/anti-Nazi platform never gets boring!
I also liked Cinemaware's American Football game (TV Sports Football?) - but it killed the Amiga hardware of the time. It was that over-specced, I'm amazed they even released it. 4th & Inches by US Gold was much...
Wish I had the broadband to support that - its horrendous on anything higher than 16 player maps for me. 😧
At a pinch I can sometimes 'risk' 24 player maps without the latency light flashing like some demented traction control warning.
Had a 20-player map last night and despite the...

Lol - the two things I don't miss on those games m8, were getting the run-up right on Rocket Rocket - iirc, it was left and right motion on the joystick in sync with his steps on the screen? And from ICFTD - trying to shoot those bloody antennae off the ants before they attacked!
Lol! I remember a rolling road day in Padiham where they were sat on the front wings in order to help the thing gain traction!
That must be 11 years ago now. I thought it had gone to that great big Scrap Yard in the sky by now??
Showing your age there m8! If we're going down the Cinemaware route, I'd love a revamp of Rocket Ranger and It Came from The Desert.
They did a rehash of Wings! on Steam recently and it's very faithful to the original game. Played that thing to death on the Amiga.
It's night and day difference having a wheel - it honestly is. Get the feedback setup right and you can feel when the front end is getting light or you cut across the rumble strips. As you've probably seen in the options menu of Project Cars, it supports plenty of wheels right out of the box...
Yeah - don't go for auto m8 - they have the awareness of a blind sloth, fingering its own hoop. You might get the next gear in the next second or a week next Thursday.
I actually find the auto box more of a pain for not downshifting enough - or keeping the engine in gear long enough - dependent...
I liked black on mine so much, that I had it done twice. With a decent clean and some tyre gel on, it looked amazing. As in other threads, I borrowed some 2118's in white once and they looked great too.
If I was having the OEM ones refurbed, I wouldn't go for standard amphasite. No point. I...
Really struggling with network speed. I know my internet connection is dogshit, but even on 16-player maps - the orange connection symbol flashes up every now and then. 24 player is very touch and go - 40 and 64 player ones are a pipe dream for me. :pensive:
Haha! I love the bots - they REALLY should have them in an SP/co-op option.
Pretty sure I had a 70+/0 K/D ratio from the Titan Mode in BF2142 too. But as I spent the whole round in an underbelly turret of the Titan, raining death upon the opposing team below, it wasn't that much of a challenge!
Hi m8. Yep, not worth it for the campaign mode alone - although what is there, is certainly enjoyable. You do get an unlock for finishing too, iirc?
Had a dabble online and managed a K/D of 2/14 - by that, totally useless! Combination of zero map knowledge, far better players and the icing on...
Lol - while I agree, there are some truly awful and expensive systems out there. Some of those Buddy Club things on EP3's sound crap. In fact, beyond crap.
I'm slightly dubious with the VR stuff - until I have a proper go with a decent setup.
My main concern is the actual interaction between you and your immediate environment. VR would work amazingly well when you're 'fixed' in place - say with a wheel and pedal setup in Project Cars. Glancing...
