Started downloading it again last night - more to see the eye-candy on the 1080 compared to my previous SLi setup which The Division seemed to constantly like breaking.
It has a campaign mode? Nice - one thing I thought was missing from the original tbh.
PC players can get the original game for £4.39 off cdkeys at the minute - if you want to get a feel for the game. Origin are giving away the season pass for free too - so that's a lot of game for less than a...
I can see the problem there m8 - you can't be expected to know everything about several ranges of cars.
But arguably, the RS section is the flagship representation of the brand and at a place such as Goodwood - there really should be a handful of dedicated staff there. These dealership tents...
I like that twist at the end of the air campaign with the main character. Quite clever!
Looking forward to see what the next war story bring. Not gone out of my way to collect all the journals yet - but I might try to reattempt some of the challenges.
I disagree with that in a way. Goodwood is a Mecca for petrolheads. It's not the usual country-bumpkin farm-fare and as such, you can expect the majority of attendees to be focused on all aspects of cars. A manufacturer (Renault) then bestows a select group of people to be stood near or hovering...
Still on the campaign - completed the 'air' section last night and have just started in the Alps as an Italian in what appears to be a juggernaut suit.
People who solely go for MP in these games are missing out. There's a good selection of back stories going on, along with opening up the game...
When online play works - it really works. Unfortunately, unless there's a close group of mates who can commit availability to going online (and let's face it, we're not always in the mood) - you're generally stuck with lone Rambo types - or murdered repeatedly as some mid-Western American kid...
I'd say not - purely as it's an extended means of showing you the mechanics of the game.
It does frustrate the hell out of me though, as to why bots aren't included as an SP option. Funnily enough, not every FPS player wants to go online. Bots don't have to geniuses either - just an apparent...
The same issue I have. My works phone (in various guises) has been Android and I just can't get on with it. The phones - in particular the higher-end ones are very good pieces of kit. If I could just get iOS on one these and it work as flawlessly as my iPhones have - I'd be happy!
Finally in the air with the campaign now - a blind one armed chimp could fly those things. Piece of piss!
No doubt I would get utterly schooled online though.
As you're paying in Euros, check what the current price of GTX 1080's are over there. Since the knee-jerk panic of Brexit over here, they are north of £700 for the likes of the EVGA FTW version. I paid £570 for it a few months back.
Clearly a big chunk out of your budget, but it will certainly...
Still liking the campaign mode so far - I'll be completing before venturing online. All the controls seem fine with K&M on the PC except the inventory!
For crying out loud DICE, how difficult and how many hurdles do you have to program in place in order to make it the mess that it currently is...
Exactly. Isn't half the fun of these games finding out what works for you and what doesn't?
I remember on Bad Company 2, THE gun to get was the M416. Once a few people had it - EVERYONE had it. It was a shite period to be playing BC2 online, tbh.
I can find myself falling into the tank/anti-tank role with this. Such a role, or that of the engineer, has always been my favourite. They tend to be the more ignored classes within BF and as such, can make a real difference to your team when the opposition uses lots of vehicles. Nothing is...
I've always found sniping to be an art-form in the BF games - one that I'm never really good at. I'm glad they make it tricky though - on else we'd just have sniping wars on every map.
I know what you mean - a couple of lads in the office think its amazing.
Ironically, I played most of the first game. Then did little else in the second game other than several rounds in the arena. Now even less in the third installment. If I compare this to the Mass Effect trilogy, I literally...
Why can't I get motivated to play this?
It's weird - I literally start in that room with the balcony - look out to the amazing scenery and then simply switch it off!
I wonder if it's the same feeling you get when a thousand page novel is at the side of you and everyone says it's awesome?
Only played a bit of the campaign so far. It has to be the first FPS game that I've ever played where you get to fly as a pidgeon!
So far so good though - it does feel quite intense. Strangely, I'm having trouble picking up weapons? It defaults to MMB, but that doesn't appear to work?
Looks superb with the PS drop above.
It's almost like you wouldn't have to hoon it around everywhere. No one would be daft enough to take it on. Just trundle on by to the backing vocals of the hooooooge force-fed V8.
10+ year old thread revamp.
Turned out to be the most committed I've ever been to an FPS - thoroughly enjoyable, yet to be bettered game of awesomeness.
Great maps, brilliant game modes. Sensible unlocks and years before the pay-to-win mentality had even spawned. A more than worthy...
