They use duckhams, which is whats recommended, in the haynes manual.
Seemed to run nicely, and cant complain for the price they charge for oil + filter change. much easier handing the cash over than doing it yourself
stop running windows xp on pc's that are just slightly above the minimum required spec lol :)
I wouldnt dare install Windows XP on my 500mhz machine, stuck with Windows 98 SE on it, with all the security patches.
How about looking at running Windows 2000 perhaps, doesn't look as good as...
To share the amount you want to, amoungst many, i'd say no.
Not unless you have a nice dedicated line which has a few mbits upload.
Think telewest is one of the fastest home broadband suppliers and their upload speed is only 384kbit/s which works out to about 45kb/s, not very fast when...
There are other services, such as MegaUpload and Rapidshare, but each have different rules, such as file size.
Yousendit uploads dont last forever unfortunately, Megaupload is slower, but more reliable, and the files seem to stay on there for much longer
Also look at www.filefactory.com...
how much space exactly, there are services which allow you to upload to them, then people can download.
www.yousendit.com (upto 1gb)
just use winrar to create an archive, and split it at 999mb or something :)
You've obviously never been in the FTP 'scene'
On newsgroups people have to upload the releases, on FTP's you can get the releases straight from the release groups, if you know the right people etc, and it doesn't cost a penny.
You may get releases on newsgroups the same day that a release...
just by a flip cover for the ps2, get the swap magic cd's aswell.
Change the original ps2 cover for the flip cover, then you can play copies.
just google swap magic for more info :)
I've got the Sandisk 1gb Memory stick pro duo (that neon yellow one lol) and its pretty good, fast transfers, good loading times of homebrew loading from the stick.
Cant complain about the price :)
That was back in my school days, about 5 years ago, only did it to get a teachers password, but ended up getting the network administrators one instead, which was a bonus, the stupid idiot had a word document on his account listing the usernames and passwords for everything, from the isdn router...
does the laptop have a floppy disk drive? if so i'll make a bootable floppy disk image, and send it over, you then just run the floppy disk creator program and just boot up the laptop, which'll boot up the floppy disk, and reset the bios to factory settings
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download2969.html
Basically it changes a couple of values in the Cmos so it resets back to factory standard. Have used it many times before, especially when I was at school, so I could bring in my own software (mainly keyloggers to get admins passwords etc on floppy...
Just wondering if anyone has ever changed one, as Mine is damaged quite badly.
It got bent when i forgot to take the bolt out when changing the engine, and It has been ok with me bending it back, but its something that needs changing so I best do it, as I dont fancy laying underneath the car...
them K-tec exhaust systems are rather loud. Got one on mine with the 4 inch slash cut pipe on the back.
With my new engine in, really sounds nice on idle, has something to do with the new cam fitted aswell, just like that little bit of lumpyness
On my 1.4 it had a very raspy noise about...
Normal neons no, normal leds no... them IceLED ones look really nice, the price reflects that, as not just any person will have them.
Tubes showing is a big no no aswell.
Why buy a new motherboard, when its no doubt the sound card...
I'm guessing its just a normal desktop pc, and not a laptop...
If so just buy a sound card, Official Soundblaster cards aren't that pricey, and offer better performance than using your onboard sound.
Or atleast find a friend...
Found this also whilst looking about...
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=810272
might be worth installing the file there, as its about hardware compatability issues, and involes the portcls module
I'd say its driver related, usually the sound card drivers. Either that or you've got too many devices sharing the same IRQ Number.
Taken from Microsoft.com...
that chip is just a resistor that costs pennies from an electronics shop. It 'fools' the ECU thinking the inlet air temperature is low, which would mean the air is more dense, so it chucks extra fuel in.
It will cause your engine to run rich, and can potentially damage it.
Its not worth...
cool, where did u get that giant tent, as i'm gonna need something like that when i respray my car the end of this year, already got some heaters just need the tent lol
Not been able to do a 0-60 run, as the engine has been on its running in period. And now its currently not on the road because its untaxed, no MOT, or insurance (need the money for other things at the moment)
Whats a big lump of poo eugegall?
You can't, they are sealed units. Just look for oil which may have run down the outside of the shocks.
My Mk1 had roughly the same problem, and the shocks were well and truely buggered.
Also do the bounce test... push down on a corner of the car, then let go, you should notice your car...
Doubt he'll have much trouble fitting into a clio, well the mk1's atleast. I'm 6ft3 and fit in, Dont have much between my legs and the steering wheel thou, and the seat is all the way back on the runners
