Here is a picture of my car, which is still my first car.

At the end of the day, if you like it, thats all that matters.
definately not a fan of it.
Nasty stickers, shopping lists on the bonnet and the sunstrip, oh and the chrome wipers.
Since when did Blitz make anything for a Clio??
The shock when in place doesnt match up at all with the hub assembly bolts. And when pulling down on the wishbone to try and make it fit, It ends up pulling the inner gaitor too much (caused loads of gearbox oil to leak out, and had to put a new clip around the gaitor)
Just wondering whether this is possible, I'm sure it is.
Reason being, is that a friend of mine has a clio which had a snapped spring, changed it for one of my old standard RT ones, but I dont think it matches his Ph3 springs, and we cant bolt the suspension strut on now.
If its possible...
yep should do, you need to install the Java Runtime, and Quicktime for Java (you have to go into customised install on Quicktime and tick the box for it).
I run it on my laptop with XP Pro on it
Last year when I insured my 1.4 RT with all modifications such as the full respray and bodykit etc, it came to £1300 tpft (had to take this option due to the bad area dragging the premium up a fair whack on the fully comp quote)
Got a couple of quotes, 1 from admiral, for all my mods...
youd get new dials anyway, not as if they cost an arm and a leg for valver dials.
Engine etc wont cost alot due to the amount of people going for the 2 litre route.
1.4 energy lump is 75bhp standard if you have the power steering, otherwise its 80bhp (book figures)
Could even just do an...
Ive got a standard RT shock sitting at the top of my garden I can measure :) both 52mm and 54 (althou the 54mm spacing one is an apex shock so could actually be shorter than standard anyway)
Not totally sure on this myself, not sure if the valver has a wider track than the standard RT, i wouldve thought so, meaning that if you use the valver shocks which would be longer, they would put lots of camber, and youd be going through tyres like there was no tomorrow (like i did with shocks...
Indeed its not good at all.
Ive just started a plan on a new custom mount that wont use the cylinder head as a key mounting point, due to the fact that its not strong enough to take all the load, unlike on an RSi head, which has 3 points to take the stress.
Will get back to you once its...
best off going to a paint supplies shop and getting them to colour match it, as if you use the renault paint code, it prob wont match up perfectly due to paint fade over the years.
the standard one is fine for the engine, if it wasnt, renault wouldnt have put a radiator on, that wasnt upto the job.
I do believe the pipe locations are different on the 16v radiator anyway.

if you read my post properly, you will notice it says "SHOCKS (UNLESS YOU ALREADY HAVE 54MM SPACING" meaning if the spacing for your hubs 52mm you will need the shocks to fit the 16v hubs on as they are 54mm!! ok not sure if you do...
Thats been done before. Youll end up breaking the cylinder head, due to the fact that its not secured properly to the point, after a while the engine will try and twist, and youll crack/break off the part where the bolts would go into the head.
21mm deep offset ring spanner is what is used on the top mount, but i didnt have a 21mm so I used a 22mm deep offset ring spanner, and cut a bit of coke can out, and used that to make up that extra mm.
Youll also need a suitable allen key so that you can hold the shock aborber piston rod...
The covers come off quite easily :) as said, just a flat headed screwdriver will do it quite nicely.

The torsion bar on the RT is a closed type, the guide shows an open type, but its pretty much the same...

Just wondering if anyone could photoshop my wheels a different colour, like gloss black, matt black etc etc, as i should have a spare bit of cash to get them refurbed, and im thinking of a different colour.
maybe even white, if it suits the car :)
Heres a couple of pics, hopefully theyre...
indeed, the 5 turbo also keeps tax down due to it only being a 1.4, whereas youll be paying £90 for 6 months on the volvo engined clio.
Think i can say that the 5 conversion is prob easier, due to the fact that you dont have to make custom engine mounts, exhaust downpipes etc. and as diamond...

Malice has done this also.
his is rather different. its not a true volvo conversion. he was lucky to get customised bits like exhaust manifold.
Youll need to get an exhaust downpipe custom made, as the volvo one doesnt fit, and fouls the...

I know i havent really got much to say but
1, Its a terrible colour
2, Its a five door
3, ARHHH Horrible bump strips
What about the women then?
If he pulls girls driving about in that then they must ride in the play bus :p...
go for it, i didnt notice much, if any loss in acceleration on my 1.4, wider wheels, so better grip.
I have toyos on mine, and i have no problem when its wet, i just think people dont slow down when it rains, and expect it to handle just the same as when its totally dry
that looks nasty. the alloys with the red bits, the lack of simple colour coding of bump strips.
If that scoop isnt actually beneficial then why bother?
Dont care that its a 5 door, as i own one myself.
