yeh but better lol. change the car imo. done the tuning thing and its good for a bit but u soon get fed up and want more!! more money then and more unreliability issues!!
sounds like the same kind of phonecall my mate had when his kw v3 damper went bang on the front of his M Roadster and ripped all the front bumper off and they basically had no interest.
My mate owns a 325 hp 2.0 turbo corsa and it was seriously quick!! It anihilated my old clio on bodies!! lol but then it would with that power! With the six speed box too it was decent at the top end. Something most owners of them dont do due to cost etc.
fair enough mate. im not arguing with anyone. I dont even own a clio anymore.
if anyone orders a set ask curtis for new rebound damper settings and soft setup :)
no quicker in a straightline but £300 remap and its completely different, u dont need to change from cup packs suspension as the chassis is significantly better than the clio, dampers are spot on for fast road use and has a much much better roll centre so none of that body roll u get from a...
read my last post. The kit is due to change as of next year with the newer settings i had on mine just before i sold it and are designed to work with softer spring rates. i think youll find its ALOT better!
have u driven on the new ones tho?? the ones i had replaced with them revalved with different rebound settings? like ive said before, if ur going to use it on the road and on track sometimes have the softer setup
thats not true. if u dont like the setup then change them to how u like them. They are well manufactured and am pretty sure im right in saying that the whole point of a decent coilover is that u have the ability to change them to how YOU like them.
change the spring rates to how you like them then!!! Its hardly fu**ing rocket science!!! if ur so great with suspension then u shud be able to get them how u like them. everyones ****OPINION*** at the end of the day.
i doubt ill be doing anything to the megane.
Im fed up of all the modding stuff tbh. I enjoyed the bodies on the clio and cams etc but was crap to use everyday and was noisy and i just like the fact that the megane has got a much better chassis than the clio and has got torque which is what a...
yeah on meganesport. Only had it 6 weeks so not done anything to it. Dont think i will tbh apart from remap. i rarely drive hers. i drove it today but only for its mot :)
the ring cars that they rent out (clio R27) use standard shocks, wheel bearings, springs etc etc and they have currently lasted 60k miles and thats all been done on the track!
The only parts upgraded are pads, brake fluid and engine oil due to only track work.
The only parts that have been...
WRONG!!! the standard unit is dire!!! You will get more out of replacing the unit and having the standard speakers than running cheap upgrade speakers on the stock unit. I know this cos ive done both and i do it as my job.
does it really matter? And yes the answer to ur question is it will probably only produce a few more than the 197. I bet if u ran them side by side in a straight line they would be identical!
Yes high frequencies are alot more directional however a GOOD coaxial speaker is made and designed with its typical mounting location in mind and will carefully control the high frequencies dispersion to sound correct when mounted low down in the door.
