there is a tiny thin piece which cant be seen in pic which supports weight o bumper and needs tack welding onto the main front slam panel so probably cant be done at home
Praise the F**KING lord. Finally someone who agrees and makes sense.
What ive been saying all along. Like i said the warranty may be 2 yrs but with who and what?? It wont be worth the paper its written on.
Curtis at AST got offered them to sell in uk along side the stuff he sells now actually! He just basically said its nothing he would be interested in thanks and neither would i. Dont believe me! Ring him.
Apparently quite a few people in the trade have been approached with this kit in the uk...
No i dont!!! H&R is great stuff. I liked the way the one i drove felt. Just a bit soft for track use.
KW kit im sure is very good but never driven one so cant really comment.
This new kit is just a recipe for disaster at the cost these are available to buy into the uk at trade. Thats an awful...
Yes but who actually makes the shocks? Whos the manufacturer. Noone actually knows i dont think.
If they stop production of them or they go bust then like i said.... You have NO warranty!
They will be dire and wont last 5 mins! if they are available to buy in at trade/import price then what the hell are they actually costing to make!!!
I wouldnt trust these to be even fitted to my car
Yes you do have the warranty but not if the company stop trading that makes them or stop production altogether once they got rid of the massive run of them which i can guarantee will happen.
I bet these particular shocks and manufacturing company name they are made under dont exist in 12 months!!
its not poor tracking at all. Very very simple mistake to make.
The wheels will be tracked correctly but its getting the fine line right between holding the wheel stright when doing the setup and the little bit of free play in the wheel and flex in the tyres when the car is stationary on the...
And there it is, someone has finally said something thats completely 100% true on this forum. good on ya jon. and i got slagged of for GDI/omex work carried out on my car lol. There was nothing wrong with my car and they did the whole job within 2 days. NOT 2 YEARS!!
Lovely cars. My mate just sold his and got an audi. Sounded awesome and went well but the engine light kept coming on all the time even tho it was a standard car and vauxhall had it in 11 times and eventually said sorry but we cant fix it!!!
WTF is that all about?? still a nice car tho :)
im just relayin my own experiences. if hes not worried about possible hassles and possible reliablility issues and not worried about spending 4k on a 5k car then go for it. it will be fun and will be fast but theres other things to go with it eg- brakes etc but the main reason i sold the clio...
my megane was 8.5k :) 225 trophy, limited edition only 158 in uk. only done 21k miles :) 1 owner.
Much better chassis than clio and has very easy tuning capability. a simple remap and bigger cooler and ur done! cup suspension is brilliant. comfortable but stiff and as ive said before much better...
i went to a rolling road trip with prodrive just before the p1 was released with a friend of mine who works at prodrive. they ran ten p1's and not one ran more than 272 hp. most ran between 260 and 270. doesnt matter tho really.
3 of my friends have had p1's and one of them still has one.
Hes...
yeh aslong as youve got 4k to build a proper engine for it wen it goes bang!!!
epic car tho i will vouch for that! even with its 270hp it is an immensly fast car! just keep changing that rubbish air mass meter!
