IMHO i wouldnt touch one of the F16 1764cc 16v engines if it didnt have full service history.
These engines need tender maintenance and if it hasnt been serviced for 30k it shows that it hasnt been looked after, thats a bad buy if you ask me, body work is easy and cheap to repair, a new engine...

Ouch!
Well my Scoob is in for its 37.5k service on friday, ill be taking my own oil so it should cost me about 80 quid in total (oilfilter, air filter and a washer bottle top up plus the other usual checks) so for the same thing (takes an hour) your getting a bit ripped off...... saying that...

I hope the engines are bench run in!
A 1k service was to do 2 things, change the thinner running in oil (so you could get both lubrication and wear) and to get rid of any filings due to that running in. Most cars now are bench run in so running in periods shouldnt count as such for the ENGINE...
Teady,
The STi is a different league to the clio cup, for instance, its a 4 door vehicle with AWD and a turbo, it produces 265ps and 253ish lbs of torque, its midrange in gear would eliminate the cups, its standing 0-100 is in the 13 sec mark, it has a top speed of 148mph, its a completely...

Bentleys of Sheffield?
Is that the one that use to be the Subaru dealer by per chance (they damaged my sill guards at the first service and tried fobbing me off and they didnt do the brakes or the sump guard up on my mates car which was under 1 yr old so he wasted a new alloy)
Think that...

Good choice forest ;)
Be warned though that these cars are expensive to run and insure and you will want some 18s and the PPP for it ;)
Servicing has changed though to 1yr or 10k but most people still get the oil changed at 6 month intervals, also the STi type UK can ONLY be run on Super...

Supposedly what you need to watch is Top Gear on sunday, if your a ford fan you wont be disappointed about how quick the focus rs is, but it does get totally slated for anything but perfect driving surfaces (which BTW we dont have in the uk)

Ive got to disagree with Pillesnoppen here, AWD is better than FWD, mainly due to the levels of grip and the safer handling characteristics it has.
As for STi7 v Clio 172.... come on, the STi7 is definately one of the best cars ive been in for confidence inspiring driving (once you get use to...

The weight savings from a steel to an alloy bonnet wont do anything for your car, infact there is a serious downside to having an alloy bonnet, the fact that it dents more easier than its steel counterpart, it may look like its been shotgun blasted after a few months of enthusiastic driving...

I know that Porsche do the same sort of thing when you buy one of their cars (not sure it its only when you buy new though?) but it is a good idea and it would benefit both the driver and the manufacturer showing that they want you to be safe out there on the roads.
