Trying to think of justifications to go for this.....

Looks pretty epic. Not sure how happy the management would be when they saw the bill though!
Is it more of a 'grating' noise than a clunk? At one point my steering rack was touching the heatshield. It doesn't do that now, but I do have similar noise symptoms as yours. And for the record - mine is north of 135k. Might just be an age-related thing?
Lol - I'm the exact opposite m8! Hate wireless for both keyboards and mice - they have to be wired for me. There's something quite 'old skool' about mechanical keyboards that I like. Strangely - unless it's some weird placebo affect as well - I seem to make fewer typos on a mechanical keyboard...
DrR - I don't think the one above is? Does it have an audible click with each key-press?
Addicted - glad you posted that middle picture m8. I'm a little short on desk space at home and the one you have without the numeric keypad would be very good for me. When was the last time you used a...
Having used a myriad USB based keyboards over the years - some basic, some very expensive, I 'rescued' an old PS/2-based Dell clunker from the basement at my mum's work and connected it to my office PC.
In a nutshell - it's awesome. Being 24 years old (the manufacturing date of 1991 is...
I actually found it better on the 360 - assuming I could see past the screen tearing and other graphical limitations. The PC version is too zoomed in - I keep wanting to scroll the mouse wheel back to get a wider view! :)
Had a quick 10-lapper at Donington yesterday in the GT3 class again the AI. Weather was awful, making the first lap a real test with 11 other cars on the track.
Lost a couple of positions and saw the occasional spin off. Span myself a few times, to finish the race overall in 6th - the Z4 GTR...
I've only noticed the arch liner having an issue where it contacts the inner lip at the bottom of the bumper. Mine is very close to the rear tyre - though the drivers side is fine.
It has caught it in the past - there are a couple of scuffs - but nothing major.
Yep - and they fixed the steering wheel settings too. Woohoo! Fired it up last night after the patch went on and all my setup for the Logitech G25 was sat there and ready to go!
First off - the gf has brownie points to earn. Make of those what you will! ;)
Secondly, if it does go duff, mention your original plan to MS - that you'd sell up and get a PS4 instead. They may waver a bit of the repair cost than lose a paying gamer.
Pllllllllleeeeeeeaaaaaasssssseeeeeee can they fix the steering wheel save settings?! I just don't get why I have to recalibrate everything with the wheel every time I launch the game?
Great pics - I love how the Nissan is left to look functional rather than concours condition. It all adds to the appeal of cars like this, imo.
Btw - there's a strong JDM appreciation on CS - so I wouldn't be too surprised if a few questions or queries come your way! I went down the three...
Would it be worth grinding/polishing the pistons too? No idea if there is any benefit in doing so - or if it's more hassle than it's worth!
And besides - we need to see some pics of this drift Nissan of yours!
Stick with it Jontt. You've done approximately 682% more maintenance on your engine than the rest of CS put together! I'm no mechanic - but I would definitely be chucking new valves in, as per Dan. To get this far and rebuild it with 11-year-old components (weak ones at that) - simply doesn't...
Don't forget - even if you bought one of the last 1*2's - they will be around a decade old now. That's 10 years of daily abuse, s**t on the roads, pot-holes, crap weather, etc.
For what they go through, they are very reliable.
Love the Noctua coolers - assuming I stay on air only (and as CPUs get quieter and less power hungry, why wouldn't you? ) - I'll get another for my next system.
I think I'm just going to keep my setup for a while as I've already had my money's worth out of it, several times over! That...
Great results! That Meggy doesn't look the most 'friendly' of body-shapes to polish either.
Really need to do mine - and I simply have no excuses. Dry area, well illuminated. Access to water and a electric outlet. Extremely flat floor as well - I could even sit and wheel myself around the car...
Shithouses.
Plymouth never seemed that bad when I was there. Why people would do that to someone else's car is beyond me. Even I wouldn't do that in a parking lot full of Audi TTs....
I can't really get my head around why multi-GFX cards are an issue - especially when using two identical boards? Surely we've been using parallel processing and tasking for as long as we can remember - and simply splitting the load between two identical GPUs and reforming the image should be a...
