Hahahaha! Sorry - did I just read "£50k on an S3"???
Good god. I need to ditch my job and become an Audi salesman. Money must be growing on trees out there....
Almost, but not quite as funny as seeing a Tdi Eos outside the local VW garage for a few pence short of £30k. [emoji38]
Great effort! Definitely stands out.
I prefer the front alloys compared to the rear ones. Could you wrap the rear cage in the same colour?
I'd actually think about colour coding the side strips to black. It would work well as a 'dividing' line around the car - alongside that black bumper strip...
^^^ - totally agree Andy.
Now if you can just use your leverage with the devs to get them to retain my Logitech G25 settings on the PC - instead of recalibrating them every time - it would be appreciated! :P
That's a tiny niggle though. I had a GT3 race with my nephew at the weekend at Oulton...
That's part of my point. Hot hatches are one genre of cars that I think will never fail to impress. Unfortunately, the manufacturers are under a lot of pressure to deliver performance, economy and that over-burgeoning H&S stuff. Give it a few more years and new drivers will be horrified and in a...
Would love to go to something like this. A proper rough 'n ready setup and I bet there are a few hidden gems amongst that lot...

Edited for accuracy. Besides the Scooby is a practical, 4WD rocket-ship that is good for a family. :tongueout:
In all seriousness, have you actually been in the back of an A5? Unless your kids are super-small - forget it. I had more headroom in the back seat of a 911. Admittedly - that...
Your initial symptoms (apart from my brake pedal going to the floor) were identical to when a rear brake pipe went on mine.
I take it you've still got full fluid levels? No little pools of fluid on the floor near one of the wheels?
I park in an underground spot where the auto lights kick in on arrival.
On Friday night, I noticed it looked a bit dark from the drivers seat. I got out and saw that only the passenger side xenon headlight was on. I did the silly, obvious thing of tapping the headlight unit a bit, but the...
Absolutely no idea.
I have a want list in my head, but that's restricted by money! Whatever I get - it HAS to be involving. I despise generic. Cars loaded with three pages of option lists, but have the feedback and involvement of a dishwasher. :unamused:
I have to accept that my 'preferred'...
The 260X is a good shout by Addicted - certainly for the budget in mind.
You might score lucky on the Bay and get a marginally quicker nVidia card. But the 260X is 'significantly' better than the GTS450 that you already have.
Definitely agree. Had the lower spec one (130bhp?) for a couple of months before my 182 arrived. Although underpowered, the cabin was a good place to be. The seating position made you feel like you were driving something a bit more special too.
Good purchase!
So, the opportunity came along to support my nephew in his first 'official' rally event, alongside the more established WRC event and drivers. The plan involved a run down to pickup the recce car near Oxford on the 15th May - get it on the trailer, and then continue down to Portsmouth for the...
I love that one - though I dread to think how you'd get some ample speed in it with a pad. The pedals just allow you to feed the power in progressively - and the turbo laaaaag is strangely addictive.
The Sierra has been The Beast for me so far - I really need to treat that with kid gloves.
Have you got over your initial doubts with this now, Andy?
What capture software did you use? nVidia Shadowplay and then spliced them together with something else?
Looks good - I like the proportion of the wheels in the arches too. They would however look nicer in a different colour like you say - it would enhance the profile view no end.
Love the de-badged boot - nice touch that.
Yep - another shout for Dropbox here.
As Jay_A says as well - for additional peace of mind (though I doubt he'll need it) is to buy a simple NAS box and back it up to there as well.
The only potential downside to that is with the increased speed of saving it locally - as well as the speed in...
Oh, hello Cadwell Park. You're a twisty, little technical sod, aren't you?!
First time on there last night - picking the Zonda R was probably not the wisest choice however. That's definitely one track I want to learn - looks good fun.
Oulton is my favourite - though I'm biased as its the most local to me and one I've visited many times. Lodge Corner is a tricky one to get right - but easier than Redgate at Donny, imo.
It does transform it m8 - and it's one additional aspect that favours the PC platform. As most people tend...
