Aye see where your coming from buddy - but my laptop connects fine though? also we can't connect to the router's WAN address to configure the router so the other lan ip shouldn't come into play.
everything can be pinged etc routers haven't really got much set except the one NAT route for a secific port for the phone system. All security features are off for now and the phone system is the only thing behind the router. i'll try and get a wireshark trace off the problem laptops and see...
Ok I’ve got a serious network problem with a couple of sites and I’m scratching my head a little on this one.
We remote administer a lot of Telephone Systems using a programming tool that connects over the internet via IP. We also configure the routers (if we install them) remotely.
Now...
Aye I'm having a nightware with an Avaya System at the moment :( Can contact STUN server's but can't get connected :( although the SIP account works on x-lite.
Ok I've nicked a Normal Lead off our telecoms eningeer.
Sorry m8 in fact I need a Male D25 to two female D9 ( I was thinking of the Samsung Systems doh!)
D25:
Red -> pin 2
Blue -> pin 3
Green -> pin 4
Yellow -> pin 5
White -> pin 6
Black -> pin 7
Brown -> pin 20
D9:
Red ->...
yeah I've struggled to find one also - They are some on american sites but they are the wrong way round - I could get gender changers etc but would be better just get the proper one - 3m would be great m8
yeah m8 - D9 jobby, if you can do it that would be great! I'll just use normal serial leads for the length I need as long as I can join them together securely?
Anyone know where I can a serial lead from which has two serial outputs on one end but the data is mirrored out of both ends?
I have a Phone System which I need to capture the SMDR data output to two PC's.
We sell Pannasonic, Samsung and Avaya Phone Systems.
I'm a big fan of the Avaya stuff tbh - having all the IP handsets running on PoE is great.
We always use ISDN for the main lines, plus SIP for backup.
SIP trunk is the future :) we are starting to do lots of these with PBX's but you can just get yourself a drytek router and use the voip feature and set up the SIP Trunk with an ISP.
So you get broadband internet and several voip lines other an analog line.
Reasons not to buy a Blu-Ray player:
-They are very expensive, and the prices have yet to come down significantly.
Well my Blu-Ray player cost 180 pounds - not really expensive for a quality bit of kit.
-The Blu-Ray discs themselves are very expensive. We bought a DVD for £3 and the same film...
Done some tests tonight
You got four choices:
a)component 720p
b)component 1080i
c)VGA lead 1280 x 1024 widescreen mode
d)upgrade xbox to a newer one and get 1080p over HDMI
I found a) gives the best image after my testing (ignoring D as I've got a old 360).
I've kept it on VGA and chose one of the resoultions (i'll check tonight) and tbh it still looks great, just tweaked the colours on the TV.
My Sammy looked awful on VGA but the Panny looks good.
