Horrible little fcukwits, my mate had a Vauxhall badge nicked off his Astra a while back, what pissed him off was the removed it with a screwdriver and left a big groove in his paint where his badge was.
Im up for the public flogging of the scumbags.
There isnt a lot of difference between the new Micra and the current Clio.
Specs taken from Parkers:
Clio Hatchback (01 on): L:381cm W:163cm H:141cm
Micra Hatchback (03 on): L:371cm W:166cm H:254cm
Im sure that the current Clio could handle 18bhp more, so the next gen Clio...
I work opposite a storage depot for Hills Motors (accident repair/breakers yard) in Burscough (near Liverpool). Today a smashed up Cup was brought in on a wagon, caved in side and front, most of the windows smashed - was a right mess.
I dont suppose it was anyone on here, CX52 *** (I think).
Dont know if this has been asked before.
Petrol gauge:
Number 1 for full - I understand.
R for empty - confused.
Does anyone know what the R stands for?
-60mm at least, thats how much mines dropped with 172 rims on and I think it sits just right.

I got my spacers from Halfords, universal 5mm ones (about £12 iirc).
I would only bother getting longer bolts if you where using anything larger than 5mm spacers, as it is your standard bolts should be fine.
Mike.
When my wipers are switched to intermittant there is a anoyingly loud CLICK between each wipe - sounds like a relay. Does my head in, what part do I replace to make it quieter (if possible).
Use the Cliosport guide, I used it to fit springs to mine - dead easy, took me about an hour and half (and Im bone-idle).
The whole job cost me £17.99 for some spring compressors.
Oh what Id give for 80bhp, my beast has a Fiat126bis-beating 60bhp.
Personally I wouldnt go too mad on the 1.4 mods (it will be harder to sell a modded 1.4), I think Id rather save the money for a faster car.
I agree with you on the useless cup holders, have a check of this thread:

Id be gutted, but its still only a car and its replaceable (with a type-r, pretty good replacement I think) - just glad that there was no-one in it at the time.
I would think you would need to replace the current immobiliser, also I think (Im sure someone will correct me if Im wrong) you have to get a professional to fit a Cat 1/2 alarm/immobiliser for it to be eligible for insurance discounts.
I have read loads of times on here how many Clios keep ending up back in the dealers (who, it seems, are all knob jockeys). Personally I have had my car over a year without so much as a squeek or rattle, am I just one of the lucky few, or is it simply because no one posts stories when nothing...
